Kat's P.O.V

Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>>

Next morning. 11:15am.

I smiled as I woke up. Last night Gerard had carried me up to bed. He even changed me into the cat onesie. I get up deciding to get a drink of milk before I get dressed. I head straight downstairs, heading for the kitchen. As I pass the lounge, I hear Mikey and Alicia's voices. I'll get my milk and some toast with jam first. Then I'll go see them. I head into the kitchen.

Gerard's P.O.V

I told my parent's everything when they arrived. I told them how I met Kat, Tim harassing her in the queue, what I wrote on the cd, Kat nearly falling off the wall, the text messages, the breakfast, meeting Jessie, the rehearsals, asking Kat to come with me, Tim attacking her, Kat moving over here. Then I told them about the rape.
Mum had tears in her eye's by the time I'd finished telling her about that. "Oh my goodness." She said, hugging me. "Poor girl."
"How did she cope after that?" Dad asked when mum moved away.
I smiled. "She had a few nightmares." I answered. "Then Mikey organised a holiday in a cabin near a small town called 'Comfort'." I explained. "To begin with, she had nightmares. But she's strong." I smiled wider. "She said there's no way she was going to let him ruin her life with me. She was determined to get past it. And she did."
Dad smiled. "I love her already."
I laughed. "She's amazing." I told them. "I asked her to marry me when we were at the cabin and she said yes. She'd actually planned on asking me."
The door opened and Kat walked in, dressed in the cat onesie. "You going away, cos there's luggage in the..." She stopped, hand on door handle, eyes wide as she noticed Mum and Dad.
"I'll take a guess and say this is Kat." Dad said, smiling as he stood up. "I'm guessing I'm right from the outfit."
Kat went bright red.
I stood up and pulled her into my arm's. "It's okay, baby." I said, kissing her on her head. "This is Mum and Dad." I looked back at my amused parents. "I'll take Kat up to change. Won't be long."
Mikey grabbed Kats tail and meowed. Kat slapped his hand.

After Kat had changed into a pair of black jogging pants and a white t-shirt, we joined everyone in the lounge. We sat on the couch, Kat hugged into my side. I wrapped my arms around her as we got through the introductions.
"Gerard told us how you met." Mum said, smiling at Kat. "You must have thought it was strange what he wrote on your cd."
Kat shook her head. "I did." She said. "To be honest, I was scared. I didn't know what he wanted.I was going to leave, but he turned up before I had chance."
I kissed her on the head. "I'm glad you didn't."
Mum awwed. Dad smiled.
Mikey laughed. "You should have run." He joked. "Then you wouldn't have to see my weird brother again." Alicia punched his arm.
Kat giggled. "I bet Alicia's thinking the same thing about when she met you."
"Hey." Mikey said, faking hurt.
Dad laughed. "Your definitely going to do great in this family."
Mum stood up and put her arms out for Kat.
Kat didn't hesitate as she went willingly into mums arms.
Dad joined in the hug. "Welcome to the family." He said.
