Gerard's P.O.V

Venus was frozen to the spot. I could feel the crowds anticipation as they waited for her to answer. I was holding my breath. I took the ring out of the box and put the box back in my pocket. I took her left hand again.
"I love you, Venus Gardener." I tell her, honestly. "Everything I've done, has been to keep you safe. To make you happy. To show you how much I love you. I'm nothing without you. I never realised there was anything missing until you came into my life. Please complete me. Marry me, Vee." I heard a few aww's. But this wasn't a show for them. This was for the beautiful goddess infront of me. I held my breath.
She opened her mouth, then closed it again. "I..."
I smiled at her. "It's okay if you need time to think." I reassured her. "I won't be upset or anything. After all, I sprung this on you in a very public place."
"No."
My heart dropped. I let go of her hand and put my head down. She rejected me. Fuck. That fucking hurts.
"I mean I don't need time to think." She moves so she's on her knees infront of me, lifting my head to look at her and smiling. "I already know what I'm going to say." She kissed me briefly.
I grabbed her hand again and looked in her beautiful eyes.
"Ask again." She whispered.
I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Venus Gardener." I started. "Will you marry me?"
She smiled. "I would like nothing more than to marry you." She kissed me again then rested her forehead on mine, looking into my eyes. "Yes, Gerard. I will marry you."
I slipped the ring on her finger as the crowd cheered and the guys played the wedding march. Nutters. I pulled Venus into my arms and kissed her, passiona
