Gerard's P.O.V
I walked upstairs to my bedroom. As I passed Venuses door I paused. No point knocking. She won't answer. I'm a idiot. I don't regret the camera's. I was only using them to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. What I do regret is not ensuring they were waterproof. But then I wasn't expecting to have a water fight. I lean against the wall by her door. "I'm sorry, Vee." I call out to her. "I don't regret the camera's. I just wanted to keep you safe. I actually forgot about them after we had fun together. I haven't even bothered about them in a while."
"You don't honestly think I believe you, do you?" Venus shouted through the door. "Your a liar. Leave me alone."
I sigh and head into my bedroom, closing the door behind me. I get dressed in a dark green misfits t-shirt, black skinny jeans and red converse. Then I sit on the bed and call Ray. He answers straight away.
Ray: "Hey, dude. I was just about to call you."
Me: "What for?"
Ray: "Hey man. You sound a little pissed. It'll wait. What's up?"
I sigh. Where do start?
Me: "She found the camera in the kitchen."
Ray: "What? How?"
Me: "We kind of had a water fight. The towel set on fire. I think the camera must have got wet and sparked up, setting the towel alight."
Ray: "Shit. I should have insisted on waterproof camera's."
Me: "Not your fault."
Ray: "How did she react?"
Me: "She locked herself in her room. After insulting me first."
Ray: "I'm sorry man. Wait you don't think she's gonna try...ya know..."
Me: "I need to make sure she doesn't. I can see on the portable monitor that she's just laid on the bed with her arm over her eyes. So she's not trying anything yet....Wait...I need to speak to Christa."
Ray: "Wait. Your MY friend but you want to talk to my WIFE? Traitor."
I laugh as he shouts Christa. Two hours later, I am still sat on my bed with a smile on my face and a writing pad infront of me with a to do list two pages long. Top of list, call Mikey. This is going to be epic.

Venus P.O.V

One week later.

I quit counting down the days after me and Gerard got close. Because I trusted him. But he betrayed me. He let me down. Fuck this. I get changed into a long, flowing black skirt. A black thin strap top and see through black shirt. I put on a pair of black knee high stockings and black ankle boots. Then I applied a little bit of black mascara. All set for work. The only times I have left my room over the past week was to get food and go to work. I was working in the afternoon's too now. Singing for the business men and women. Gerard had tried to speak to me. But I ignored him. I'll ask Barry if I can move in to his spare room until I find somewhere else. I can't stay here. I head out the bedroom door with my wallet and mobile in my hand. When I get to the bottom of the stairs, Gerard steps out of the kitchen. I don't even look at him. Instead I open the front door and shout, "I'm off to work." Over my shoulder.

Gerard's P.O.V

I watch Venus walk out the front door. I've tried to talk to her every day for a week. The only things she said to me was, "I'm just getting food." "I'm off to work." That's it. I guess if she's at work, I have time to prepare. I smile as I head upstairs to change. Right. Venuses favourite mcr era outfit is revenge era. So black suit with red tie. God I hope this works.

Venus P.O.V

Two hours later.

I yawned as I sat under the willow tree in the park. I pulled my knees up to my chest and hugged them. Leaning my head back against the tree trunk and closing my eyes. I thought about how I'd been so determined to kill myself not long ago. Now I can't. I have people who care. I can't hurt them. I have Jamia and Frank. Ray and Christa. Bob and Caitlyn. Mikey and Alicia. Barry the barman at 'Gold'. Even Gerard. As much as I hate him right now. I can't let them go through what I've been going through. Fuck this life. Why did I have to take Gerard up on his offer? I frowned as I heard some banging. I thought the park was supposed to be quiet? "Look, Danny. It's My Chemical Romance." I hear an excited voice.
Dumb cow. They split ages ago.
"What era is that, babe?" A man asked.
"Revenge." Dumb cow answered. "Though Gerard had black hair then not orange."
God give me the strength not to grab a rock and use it on the dumb cow. Her voice is so screechy.
The start up music to 'The Light Behind Your Eyes' started to play. Trust me to decide to relax in the park when there's a live tribute band on. Good job it's my favourite mcr song. My eyes flew open and I looked straight forward in shock as Gerard? Started to sing. A van with the other members playing their instruments wearing their revenge outfits, behind him. He was looking straight at me. Oh my god.

Gerard got down on one knee infront of me. I froze as he pulled out a small black box from his breast pocket. He opened the box to reveal a beautiful silver ring with a row of four small diamonds on it. The crowd that had gathered during the performance gasped.
"Venus Gardener." He said as he grabbed my left hand in his. "Will you do me the honour of being my light? Will you marry me?"
My mouth dropped open and I stared at him.
