She Even Poked The Holes So I Could Breathe

Once we're all at the mall, we wander around, arguing on where to go. Frank whines about wanting to see the dogs, so thats where we go. On the walk there, l can feel Ray slowly but surely getting closer and closer to me. l smile. lt's cute. l see Oli has noticed too, and he groans.

"UGGHH just hold her hand or something, Ray!" He insists.

Ray blushes and nods and then gently grabs my hand. He has the biggest smile on his face, his brown eyes are full of love and life. Its almost as if you can tell that he's happy to be holding my hand, and l know that that sounds conceited of me to say that but it makes me feel special. Also, his attention is always welcoming, especially because l dont get any at home. It's really nice to be holding hands, feeling loved and being able to make someone else [Ray] grin in joy just because of my presence. Sometimes the guys make fun of Ray's hair (but not in a bad way), but l like it. And Frankie jokes about how tall Ray is but thats one of my favorite things about him. Maybe l only love everything about him because l'm accepting, or maybe its because l'm completely head over heels for him. l think its the ladder.

We all enter the small puppy dog store, smushed, as Frank squeals about the puppies and Gerard follows him around, pointing at a great dane and making heart eyes at it. l giggle at one of the dogs as it claws at the glass, staring at Ray and l. l drag Ray to the dog and he bends down and starts making a bunch of crazy gesticulations at the dog, it's quite cute actually; watching him play with it.

We leave the puppy store and end up browsing Forever 21, the gang laughing at Pete as he tries on a size 4 womens ripped skinny jeans. They dont look bad on him, honestly. Everyone tries on an article of clothing, Alex putting on high heels and falling over. Ray puts on a dramatic scarf and a hat and l put on a ladies suit coat.

Twenty minutes later, Mikey drags everyone to the food court so we go, Oli demanding that Ray and l share food. I don't mind it but Oli is controlling as hell but he's just having fun. Ray and l do end up sharing l giant salad; which was good.

After an hour or two more of mindlessly walking around and many stares by younger kids and elders, we arrive back home. Everyone goes back to their houses today but since they dont want me being home alone when my parents are gone, l go home to Rays house and Pete and Mikey come along so Ray and l arent all alone together.

Before we all go to sleep, Ray kisses my cheek, clichedly making sparks run through my body as l blush.

Also, my parents come back in four days.
