"So I don't understand this. I've seen some words are sometimes written with an e at the end and sometimes they are not. What's the difference?" Matt asked.
"Well, the e at the end indicates it is feminine. Look", Gee said, taking a notebook and a pen out of his backpack. He wrote "fiancé" on his notebook. "Fiancé is masculine but if you add an e at the end, it becomes fiancée, and it is feminine", he said, adding an e at the end.
"So that's it?" Matt asked.
"Yup, pretty much", Gee said. I've been taking every single French elective, so trust me, it's easy."
Matt remained silent, looking at his hands over the table.
"What happens?" I asked him.
"I don't understand. Gerard has been so kind to me, he explained me this French stuff, he's been trying to make me feel comfy around you guys, in spite of what I did", he replied, drawing circles on the table with his right index finger.
"Trust me, man. I considered sending you to hospital exactly the way you did with Mikey but then I was like, will I get something from that? No, I'd be doing exacly what you did and how can I complain about someone doing something I just did? In addition, I'd only make you hate him more, and you'd end up hating me too and it'd be an endless stupid war. I wanted to make a difference. Show you, show everybody I'm different. I can do better", Gee said, very calmly.
"Thank you", Matt said, smiling shyly.
"So where are we going now?" I asked.
"Hey, guys, I'm not finished yet", Ronnie complained. "Lemme drink this coffee and eat what's left of my burrito."
Gee put the notebook and the pen inside his backpack and I replied to a text message.
"Okay, let's go", Ronnie said, getting up.
"Guys, I know I barely talk to you and stuff, but you were awesome last Thursday", Matt said, scratching his neck.
"Thank you", Gee and I said at the same time.
"Have you thought about recording an EP or something?", Matt asked us.
"Yeah but we haven't really talked about it", I said.
"I was telling Ronnie that a friend of mine has a studio, I can give you his number if you want to", Matt said, smiling.
I took my phone out of my pocket.
"Sure, go ahead."

Notes

I wrote this chapter like two days ago but I have problems with this website when I try to access from my cell phone, so I had to wait until I could use the computer. I might post another chapter today, it depends on the amount of inspiration I get, lol.
