But little did I know...

We arrived at the venue. I can start this chapter saying that but it'd be too plain so get ready for my long long long explanation.

Gerard wanted to drive but I was like "no" because I bought the tickets and that show was a gift from me to him and it wasn't a complete gift if he drove. I tried to convince him not to drive but he reminded me I didn't even have a car, so we were like "what are we gonna do?". At the end, I ended up letting him decide because I thought I was annoying when trying not to be annoying. He handed me the keys.

"What?", I said, surprised.
"You drive", he said, matter-of-factly.
"But I crashed my last c...!", I started.
"I don't care. I trust you", he interrupted me.
"Are you sure?", I asked.
"Do I look like I'm not?", Gerard said, sketching a smile.

So we got into the car.

Gerard turned on the radio. "Moving On" by Asking Alexandria. Great.

"I thought I'd never say this, but I do like that song", he said. "Asking Alexandria's music is not that bad now that I think about it."
"I've always loved Asking Alexandria, especially this song. If I received a dollar each time somebody calls me poser because I listen to Asking Alexandria...", I started.
"You'd already have enough money to buy a Ferrari", Gerard said. We laughed.

Then we remained silent for a few seconds.

"What happens?", I asked.
"I don't know. I didn't expect this...", Gerard said, smiling.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... you and me, going to a Dioramic show, you've been driving for an half an hour and haven't crashed yet", he said, really slowly.
"Hey! If I crash, it'll be your fault!", I immediately replied.
We laughed again.

"Thank you for this amazing day", he said, smiling.
"But we haven't even arrived to the venue!", I replied.
"I don't care. It's been a great day so far. Especially because you're here", he said. "Here we are".

We got out of the car, and ran crazily towards the venue's entrance.

I'm not writing as often/much as I used to because I either don't have time or I don't know what to write. But I will keep writing, I promise.
