But little did I know...

The phone rang.

"Dammit", I said. "Lemme go answer, I hate the ringing."

I got up, I thought about plainly disconnecting the phone and go back to what I was doing, but I saw it was Mikey's number, so I answered.

"Frankie!", he said, cheerfully, before I could even say hello.
"Yes, it's me. What's up?", I said, trying to sound serious. Gerard tried not to laugh.
"Someone's laughing! Tell him to tell me the joke so I can laugh too!", Mikey said, when he heard Gerard.
"He didn't even want to tell me the joke, but well, you're brothers, maybe he'll tell it to you...", I replied, and I gave the phone to Gerard and I left, before he could even ask why. I went to my basement, I locked myself in my improvised studio, and I started dancing and jumping. Yaaaaay! "It's supposedly impossible for people outside it to hear what happens inside, well, today I'll see. I hope he doesn't hear me", I thought.

I spent like fifteen minutes there, trying to process everything. I left when I felt ready, well, not completely ready but at least a little bit.

"No way. Nooo way", I heard Gerard say.
I opened the door. He heard me and he turned around and told me to approach him. "Wait a second", he said to Mikey.

"What happens?", I asked, a little concerned.
"You won't believe it. Mikey said he heard Ashley say Matt has a crush on Andy", Gerard said, whispering. I immediately took the phone, and Gerard was still holding it and it almost fell down. Now that I think about it, why didn't I ask him to give me the phone and that's it?
"What?", I asked, confused.
"I'm not sure, though. It makes no sense because he sent me to hospital after I asked Alicia out... but maybe he did that because he's afraid of coming out and..."

Who knows. It makes sense to me. Maybe he dated Alicia to fake it, or maybe he's bisexual like me. Who knows.

"Guess what?", I said, really excited.
"What?", Mikey replied, as excited as me.
"Gee and me decided to start our own band!", I said.
"Oh", I heard Mikey say, really disappointed.
"By the way, we're together now and our first official date will be a Dioramic show!"

I heard him squeal.

"OHMYGOD. OHMYGOD. Did I hear what I think I heard?", Mikey said, and I just smiled.

I had no idea about what to write so I decided to keep working... but then voilà, inspiration arrived! I left work aside again (haha), but in my defense I can say I made like a page, and it's easy enough, so I finish a whole page really fast.
