But little did I know...

The bell rang. Everybody started leaving the classroom. I took my notebook and threw it into the backpack.

"What's your next class?", Gerard asked me.
"Let me see", I replied, and I looked at my schedule. "Musical theory, classroom 101".
Gerard didn't say a word and I knew exactly why.

"Wow, that's my next class too!", he finally said.
"Let's go then. You'll be the guide because I don't wanna get lost again", I said.
He was gonna laugh but he tried so hard to avoid it.
"What are you laughing at?", I asked, pretending I had no idea.
"You got lost!" He looked at the roof and then continued, with a calm voice. "Don't worry, Frankie, I got lost too."

He called me Frankie!

"Luckily this guy Ronnie helped me find the classroom", I said, smiling.
"Ronnie?", he asked, interested.
"Yes, Ronnie, a black-haired guy, he told me I could find him at classroom 609 if I needed something."
"Oh, so you met Ronnie Radke."
"You know him?"
"Obviously! He's been studying here since I can remember. When I was a freshman, he was already here. He's almost part of the campus' decoration." he said, trying not to laugh.
"He always takes classes that are in the same classroom so he doesn't need to be always moving from one to another", he said. "But I don't know why, I mean, he rarely attends".
"Oh, so that's why he's been here for ages", I replied.
Gerard looked at his shoes. "Yes, I guess." He smiled. "But he said he's gonna take like 12 subjects this semester so he can graduate... finally, and he swears he's gonna attend and do the assignments and take the exams and all that shit..."
"You can actually do that?", I asked, surprised.
"Supposedly not", Gerard said, matter-of-factly, "but if he managed to remain here all these years, he can do anything". He smiled. "Wanna go for a coffee when we get outta here?"
"Sure", I said.

Well, here's the next chapter. I'd love to tell you that you should get ready for the drama contained in the following chapter, but as I don't know what I'm doing, I don't think that's wise. I'm just like you, full of excitement and expectations.
