But little did I know...

Well, I'm finally here. After everything I had to go through, I'm finally here.

But what's "everything I had to go through"? Okay, let me tell you.

I was supposed to wake up at 6 am but my fucking alarm clock didn't work or I didn't hear it or whatever so I woke up at 7:15 am. I thought I'd never say this, but thank you, neighbor. Thank you for your fucking blender noise at 7:15 am. I hate it with all my might but at least today it helped me wake up.

I immediately got up and I ran towards the bathroom. But wait, where's the shampoo? This bottle is already empty. I had to go to the hallway, open the kind of closet I have there, look for a new bottle, take it, and go to the bathroom again. But fuck, my towel. I looked for it, until I found it under my favorite jacket, over the desk. I ran again, I locked myself inside the bathroom. I took off my clothes and I stood under the shower. The water was cold. "Dammit", I thought. "Well, I'm already here. It's summer anyway." I took a quick shower, I put my towel around my waist and I got out of there. Well, I fell down first. I guess I need to get new flip-flops.

I opened my closet and I took the first t-shirt I found. The Periphery t-shirt Gerard gave me at Warped Tour. Then I took a pair of black skinny jeans and the only sneakers I own: a pair of black Converse. I put them on and then I ran to the kitchen. I took the first thing I found (a jelly and peanut butter sandwich) and I ran to the living room. I took my backpack, threw the sandwich inside it, then I got the notebook that was over my TV and I left.

I wasted like half an hour at the bus stop trying to catch the bus. When a bus finally showed up, I got into it and I tried to eat my sandwich, even if I was standing because there were no available seats. When the bus arrived to college, I managed to get out and started running.

I got lost in that huge campus so I had to ask for help. A black-haired guy was sitting on a bench. I decided to approach him.

"Hey, I'm new here and I got lost. Could you tell me how to get to classroom 403?", I asked.
"Sure, man. You just have to... you know what? I'll take you there, I myself got lost last year, even after asking for directions", he said. "Let's go".

He started walking, and I followed him.

"So you're new here, huh? What's your name?", he asked.
"Frank", I said. "And yours?"
"Ronnie."

He started explaining me how to get to the cafeteria, the restroom, the exit door... and told me some stuff I needed to know, until we stopped in front of a brown door that said "403" on it.

"Well, here we are. Good luck. I'm at classroom 609, if you need something. Sixth floor, almost in front of the elevator. See you later, Frank!", he said and he left.
"Thank you, Ronnie!", I said and I opened the door. A brown-haired teacher, wearing a light-blue shirt, was sitting on the desk.

"Can I come in?", I asked.
"I don't know if you can", he replied. I took a few steps.

"If I let you in, that's another story", he said. I remained silent. "Ha ha, just kidding, come in!"

I sat on the nearest chair. I felt somebody touched my left shoulder. I turned around. It was Gerard.

"Frank! You're taking this class too? Who would've guessed it?", he said, a little excited.
"Er... yeah, who would've guessed it...", I replied.
"I see what you did there", he said, pointing at my Periphery t-shirt.
"It was the first one I found... I didn't even notice", I said, smiling.

"Iero, Way, if you've got something important to discuss, you can leave the classroom", the teacher said.
"No, it's just that...", I replied.
"No, really. You can leave, talk and then come back. You won't get an absence, trust me", the teacher said, calmly.
Gerard and I remained silent, and the teacher continued explaining the topic.
