Gerard’s POV
When Frank and I enter the room again, Mikey is sound asleep underneath the covers. His form is slightly outlined in the blankets; I lean down and give him a little hug before standing back up and then crawling into bed where Frank is already laying down.
“He’s alright?” Frank whispers to me.
“He’s fine,” I smile.

Frank curls up with his head on my chest and pulls my arm so it’s draped over him. He whispers a goodnight to me which I return with a light kiss on the top of his head. I wait until Frank’s breathing is completely even and I know he is asleep until I let myself sleep too.

*

Early in the morning I’m startled awake by the persistent parping of an alarm clock right by my left ear. I blindly swat in its vague direction until I hit a button on its cold surface which makes the noise cease. Frank groans from beside me, rubbing his eyes sleepily. He squints blearily at me and says, “Do we have to get up?”
I roll my eyes and reply, “Unfortunately the law requires it.”

I get up to wake Mikey but Frank pulls on my hand, drawing me back onto the bed. He wraps his arms around me, snuggling his face into my back.
“Stay here,” he murmurs. I relent and lie back down, shuffling around until we are face to face.
We stare into each other’s eyes for a moment. I drink in the features of his face: his perfect bone structure, his twinkling, innocent eyes, his milky skin and his amazing lips. After a second Frankie snorts, which leads to me snorting even harder, and then Frankie giggling and soon enough we’re both laughing hysterically and Mikey is making a sleepy, grumpy face at us. He shakes his head and mumbles ‘what the fuck’ and then goes to have a shower.

Frank is breathing quickly, trying to calm himself down. I make an amused face at him and then ruffle his fringe. I stand up, stretch and yawn then hold a hand out to Frankie. He places his slightly calloused hand in mine so I can pull him off the bed. He smiles gratefully at me, blushing a little.

We both go to pick out some clothes, me finishing a little before Frank does. I walk over to where he is leaning over a draw, bum waving in the air. I smack it and as I do he bumps his head on the draw above him and turns around to me crossly.
“Gerard!” he chastises, rubbing his forehead. I shrug cheekily and sidestep quickly to dodge a playful punch he throws at me. Frank eventually finds the hoodie he was looking for and folds his clothes over his arm. He then slips out the door silently to go and get changed.
I get changed myself; tidy up a little so that by the time Frank returns the room is at least kind of clean. Mikey comes out of the bathroom, freshly dressed and showered. He automatically goes to help make the beds.
“What were you guys laughing at so loudly?” he asks curiously.
Literally nothing,” I reply with a chuckle, seeing him smile out of the corner of my eye.
“You really like him, don’t you?” he remarks. I blush a little and nod. Mikey and I share everything with each other, but dating just never really came up in our conversations. We go back to making the beds in a comfortable silence.

All three of us are sitting at the bench, sipping on mugs of coffee in appreciative silence. Frank glances down at his watch and swears. “It’s a little past time to leave,” he announces, tipping the rest of his coffee down his throat.

Mikey and I stand, finishing the rest of our drinks on the way to dump our mugs in the dishwasher. We grab our bags from their place at the bottom of the stairs. Frank calls out a goodbye to his Mum and then we’re out the door.

As we round the corner to the gates of the school, I spot my bodyguard/monitor guy and quickly push Frank and Mikey back around the corner where they can’t be seen. Mikey makes a noise of objection but once he sees the utterly serious look on my face he doesn’t say anything more. I explain that the bodyguard is there, and we agree on an order to walk out in.

Mikey and I go first, and then after a couple minutes Frank follows on. Since the guy is watching us, obviously Frank can’t stay with me like I’d like him to, and instead heads straight for homeroom. The bell rings a little while after; I say goodbye to Mikey and walk, followed by the bodyguard, to homeroom.

*

To get out a couple minutes early I tell the teacher I need to go to the bathroom, which she agrees to. Instead, I go to meet Mikey outside his last period class which I know is History because I asked him at lunch today. Again I only got to see Frank for a few minutes in the bathroom since Joel (as the bodyguard introduced himself) was watching me closely. Thankfully he couldn’t interrogate me about where I’ve been because of all the people that were at my table.

The bell ring shrilly, giving me about two seconds to get out of the way before the door flings open and students pour out of the classroom and into the quad. Mikey shuffles towards me with books hugged to his chest. Someone waves to Mikey, calling a farewell. He returns the wave though a little less enthusiastically. I’m glad he has a friend because I know Mikey struggled with that for a while.

I tell Mikey this, and he just says “I’m not really all that phased. You’re the only friend I really need, Gee.”
I pull him into a side hug at that, making ‘aww’ noises. He hugs me back quickly then stiffens as his eyes settle on someone in the distance. I look in the direction he’s transfixed on and spot Joel leaning against the fence. I duck to the left and down a different track before Mikey and I are noticed.
“Shit,” Mikey breathes.
“Shit.” I agree.
I text Frank to let him know we’ll be heading a new way home to avoid Joel, and that we’ll meet him a bit further down the road than originally planned. He responds quickly, wanting to know whether we’re safe. I press the call button and am immediately greeted by his slightly panicked voice.
“Frankie, we’re just going around the back instead of through the gates. If you want you can meet us here now, we’ll wait.” I say calmly, hoping that if I appear put together it will ease Frank’s nerves.
“Okay,” he breathes. “Wait there and I’ll be round in a minute. Not that I don’t think you can take care of yourself or anything, I just, um, want to make sure you’re safe.” He rushes.
“Thank you Frankie,” I smile. “I guess I’ll see you in a minute then,” I say and then put my phone away.

Mikey and I keep a close eye on Joel from our concealed position. He glances around every so often, then when most of the students have drained from the parking lot, he takes out his phone, jabs the screen a couple times and then holds the phone to his ear. Frank shows up at that instant, wondering what we’re looking at. It becomes apparent when Joel tosses his phone to the ground and throws his hands up in frustration. I wrap an arm around both Frank and Mikey, and then begin to walk away from the scene. I don’t want to risk Joel coming looking for us; there aren’t that many places in this school that someone can just disappear to.

The walk home I am a little on edge from the Joel scene, but try to settle. I ask Frank about his day (since all we really did in the bathroom was cuddle and make out – not that I'm complaining). He tells me that in first period their teacher spilt tea all over his computer so they basically had a free period.
“Lucky!” Mikey remarks. “We practically had absolute silence for the whole class.”

We come up to Frank’s house which is when I release a sigh of relief, a breath I didn’t know I had been holding. This house just means safety to me, like nothing can get us here. Mrs. Iero is sitting at the kitchen table clicking away on her phone. She immediately stands up when she sees us.
“I’m going out to another meeting so I’ll have to dash off quickly. I should be back a little after dinner so fix yourselves something healthy. Frank, please don’t just have cereal for dinner again.”

With that she kisses each of us on the top of the head, and is gone. We stand there for a second more, blinking a few times before moving.
“Well, I'm going to have a shower,” Frank states.
“Okay, I’ll be upstairs. Mikey?” I say.
“I’ll stay with you. I had a shower last night anyways,” Mikey decides.

Everyone heads to the kitchen first, though, me with my hand slipped quietly into Frank’s back pocket. I squeeze his bum slightly, making him squeak. Mikey looks back curiously with his eyes narrowed and flickering between us but I just shrug nonchalantly. Meanwhile, Frank has gone completely beet red. Mikey turns around; I face Frank and hold my finger up to his lips. He nods with wide, wavering eyes. I guide us to the stools at the bench whilst Mikey starts to brew mugs of coffee up for us.

A smirk plays on my lips as I slowly drag my hand down to the rising tent in his jeans–

“Frank?” Mikey asks with his back to us. “Would you like any sugar in your coffee?”
Frank gulps, and tries to clear his throat.
“He’ll have one, thanks Mikes.” I answer for him.

I look back to Frankie whose face is still burning just as hard as before. I slip an arm around his shoulders and then direct my attention to creating marks on his neck. Frank shudders, attempting desperately to keep his breathing relatively normal sounding. I ensure I mark his neck up really nicely before knocking a pen from the counter and, not breaking eye contact, announce that I’d dropped it and better pick it up. Frank is watching me with wild eyes; Mikey just tuts in the background.

I lift myself off the seat and then down to the ground. Once again I place my hand on Frank’s jeans: this time on his inner thigh. I trail upwards, humming a little.
“Where is that pesky pen?” I say lightly.
“I’m sure it’s, uhm, up here Gerard. You could come back up; I mean your brother is in the room after all.” Frank states, pausing to clear his throat every so often.
“What does my being here have to do with-” Mikey starts.
“Found it!” I yelp and rise victoriously from the ground.

After coffee we all head upstairs in a group. Frank gathers things for his shower and leaves the room soon. Mikey sits on the bed, clicking away on his phone. I realise I should get mine out and check it as well, just in case of emergency. When I unlock the screen, a missed call notification jumps out at me. It’s from only two minutes ago, but the caller was an unidentified number. Just then my phone buzzes furiously, announcing I have another call coming through. It’s the same number.

Mikey passes me a questioning glance towards my phone. I pick it up and head out the door, shutting it then leaning against the back of it.
“Hello?” I say dubiously. Someone is breathing heavily down the phone. “I swear to god if this is another fucking prank call I will-”
“I know where you are,” a chilling voice says. Then it’s followed by a bark of laughter.
“I know where you are!” it sing-songs again with a cutting undertone. “And I will find you this time. I will.” The male speaker resolves.

The phone line goes dead, leaving just an empty ringing in my ear.

That was my father.

If your having problems with smut scenes, you could always get a co author for just those parts. The reader gets what they want and you don't have to feel awkward. You did really good though.xxx
