Summary
Alice is an introvert yet surprisingly good at first impressions, it's just continuing to maintain the 'normal' charade that is the problem. When she meets a young emo kid whose starting his own band with his brother, Gerard Way, he makes her question why she hides inside her mind and fakes who she is to everyone else.

Alice Brendon
16 year old girl with long black wavy hair everyone she meets says they love, she soon cuts it just below chin length and dyes it bright purple. Alice Is great at first impressions, It's keeping them that's the problem. What with the crappy summer she's just had she faces herself on the brink of a major character building and the next year of her life could alter everything she's had planned. There's a lot going on and while she thought she knew, Alice isn't certain what she wants from life anymore. sometimes she just wished she never existed, then she runs into a guy who makes her see life for the pang of reality she knew was there but could never quite grasp, opening her up to the world and helping her to find who she truly is.
Gerard Way
Fun, spontaneous and different Gerard makes friends with most the people he meets and despite his alternative style makes friends of almost everyone except those idiots that hate on people for their looks or just hate on anyone who isn't apart of their groups. Gerard is very much come and go and it can never be certain when anyone will see him again, however that is the frill about him and that's how he is no one questions it or complains and everyone he befriends treats him the same as if he never left, that is the magic of Gerard.
