*Gerard's POV*

"Hey Gerard!" Frank called out to me, we were at lunch time passing through the quiet halls to my locker. I avoided him most of the day, for some strange reason. But he finally caught up with me, saying that he wanted to spend most of lunch-time with me. He didn't need to go to his locker, but I needed my math book after lunch.

"Hi Frank.." I half-smiled. Great, you're already being all weird around him. Just think clearly...

"You alright, Gee? You seem pale?"

"Uh yes, yes I am and no I'm not pale. I'm perfectly fine." When we reached my locker, I changed the subject. "What are we doing in Mrs. Thompson's math class today?" Frank rolled his eyes, most likely to our teacher.

"Some stupid problems. I mean, come on! I don't want to find math's 'x', math can find it's 'x' by itself. And it's the hardest it's ever been today, I guess we have a test next week.. Ughh.."

I finished taking my math book out, put a texbook back into my locker, and Frank and I went outside to our school's lawn. We had skipped eating lunch, so we decided just to wait for lunch to end by waiting outside.

"What was before about, Gerard?"

"What do you mean?"

"Gerard, you acted weird around me. Hell, you've been acting weird around me since we.. Uh, you know.." Frank noticed that some kids were passing by us, and of course. It's Ace.

"Hey Frankie, hello Gerard. Long time, no see huh?" She purred at Frank and I. Frank spoke up first.

"What do ya want Ace?"

"Nothing, just want to 'hang out' with my friends."

"Fuck off, Ace. We both know we aren't friends." I blurted out to Ace.

"Why you gotta be so rude? I'm only trying to be nice. But maybe I shouldn't, you're a piece of shit that doesn't deserve niceness. You're lucky Mikey is keeping an eye out for us interacting.. He hasn't brought my name up in a while, huh? I would have my friends beat you up right now if I didn't care about Mikey's and I's friendship." I huffed,

"You think Mikey is actually friends with you?!? My brother would never, ever be friends with you Ace. I hope you realize that." I rolled my eyes, signaling to Frank that I wanted to leave because the school's bell is ringing.

"You're lucky lunch is over, Gerard. We'll talk about this more after school."

"Whatever.." I mumbled to her.

I looked at the clock, it was ending sixth period and school for today. I tuned out Mrs. Thompson and listened to the clicking of the clock...

Tick tock... tick tock... tick tock...

And then finally the bell rang, Mrs. Thompson excused us to go and said,

"Don't forget to bring back that worksheet tomorrow, class!" A lot of, 'okay's were given back to her.

I couldn't wait to get to Frank, surprisingly. I just wanted to be nowhere near Ace, so I was rushing to get to Frank.
