Terrible Things
Chapter Three
Lindsey pushed Gerard down onto his bed. He stared up at her as she started to unbutton her shirt. He tried to stand up again to stop her, but Lindsey pushed him down again. It had been almost a month since Gerard kissed her, since then Lindsey had kind of just assumed they were now together. Since that day, Gerard had given up leaving the house again. He had given up on even seeing Frank again. He was quickly snapped out his thoughts as he realised Lindsey was now almost naked.
"Lindsey, s-stop" he grabbed her shirt off the floor and handed it back to her.
"Why?" she asked, sounding offended. Gerard stood up again and gently moved her away from him.
"I-I can't do this anymore, Lyns. I'm sorry, I-I'm not interested.." he mumbled, feeling extremely guilty for leading her on. She stared at him for a few seconds before saying thing.
"Are you serious? Are you fucking serious?!" she raised her voice, causing Gerard to jump.
"I-I'm..I'm sorry," he tried not to make eye contact as Lindsey pulled her skirt back on. She snatched her shirt from Gerard's hands and pulled it over her shoulders.
"You're a liar, you f-fucking liar, Gerard! I-I can't believe I fell for it!" she shouted as she stormed out his room.
"Lindsey, please! Can I at least explain? Lindsey!" he followed her down the stairs and to the front door.
"Leave me alone, never ever talk to me again! I really fell for you, Gerard. You were just using me for se- You know what? I hate you, Gerard Way, I-I.. I hope that fucking treatment fails!" she shrieked before slamming the door shut behind her. Gerard was left standing by the door, his mother had appeared in the doorway.
"What was that about?" she asked, Gerard groaned and started to walk back up the stairs.
"Gerard? Answer me!"
"Stop fucking shouting at me! She's fucking crazy!" Gerard shouted and ignored his mother questions as he walked back to his room, slamming the door shut. He sighed heavily and slumped onto his bed, burring his face into the pillow. 'I hope that fucking treatment fails' the words echoed through his head. He turned onto his back and stared at the ceiling. He suddenly felt tears rolling down his face.
"It's not fair!" he shouted, rubbing his hands across his face.
"W-Why me?!" he shouted again and again.
"I hope the fucking treatment fails! I hope I fucking die!" he screaming at himself, suddenly feeling extremely tired. He pulled his knees up to his chest and rolled onto his side, so he was now looking at the wall. His eyes felt heavy as he allowed his body to shut down and sleep.
"Gerard?!" His mother shouted while shaking him frantically. Gerard jumped when his eyes snapped open.
"Bloody hell, mum! What's wrong? You scared the shit out of me!" he stared at his frightened mother, tears suddenly rolling down her face.
"You weren't waking up, oh god Gerard. I-I thought, oh god," the thought of Gerard not waking up scared her to death.
"Mum... It's okay, i'm fine," he pulled his mother into a hug, allowing her to cry into his neck.
"I didn't think you were going to wake up," he mumbled against his skin. He seemed to fragile and delicate now. The treatment he was getting was definitely making him lose weight, and making him look so sick. She gently kissed his neck.
"I'm sorry, sweetie," she pulled away from his grip and wiped her cheeks.
"Mikey and I are going out for a bit, do you wanna come?" she squeezed his hand gently.
"I think i'll stay here, if that's okay?" it came out as a question rather than a statement. His mum nodded lightly.
"That's fine, Gee. We'll see you later," she kissed his cheek before leaving the room.
Gerard decided to go out for a walk. He wandered down the practically deserted street. He noticed a starbucks and felt a wave of relief hit him. Oh god how he loved coffee. He walked into the warmth, suddenly being hit with the smell of coffee. He walked to the counter and ordered a coffee, he sat at a table and looked around. He saw someone enter and he watched the short boy walk to the counter. He recognised the dark hair, the lip ring. The emerald eyes. Gerard jumped when someone set a cup of coffee in front of him, he thanked them before they walked away. He carried on staring at Frank, hoping he would turn and recognise Gerard. He suddenly realised the smaller boy was turning to leave the shop, and Gerard quickly found himself on his feet and heading for the door as well. He got there before Frank and held it open for him.
"Thanks," the boy said, blushing slightly. He looked at Gerard, then away, then back at Gerard.
"G-Gerard, isn't it?" Frank stuttered, but smiled as the taller boy nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, uh Frank, right?" he pretended he didn't quite remember his name, but he knew it so well.
"Yeah, how have you been?" Frank asked nicely, walking next to Gerard.
"Good, yeah. How about you?" Gerard founded himself walking the same way as Frank.
"Okay, thanks. Just you know, heading to school," Frank giggled. Gerard felt butterflies swarm his stomach at the sound. He suddenly realised they were now standing outside the school, Frank waved goodbye and started to walk inside.
"Hey Frank?" Gerard called after him, making the other boy turn around.
"Yeah?" he walked back to him and looked up into Gerard's eyes.
"Do you want to hang out sometime?" Gerard gulped, realising how silly it probably sounded. "Sounds awesome, yeah" Frank giggled again, causing Gerard's face to burn.
"C-Cool, uh, what's your number? I'll text you," Gerard asked, hoping it didn't sound too weird. Frank pulled Gerard's arm towards him and pulled a pen out his blazer pocket. He quickly scribbled a number onto his wrist and let go.
"See ya later, Gerard," Frank blushed as he turned away and walked into school, leaving Gerard staring at his arm. That actually happened. That really happened. He got Frank's number. He couldn't stop himself from smiling for the rest of the day.
It was now almost six and it was getting quite dark. Gerard was lying on the sofa, watching some sci-fi program about aliens. He loved the thought of aliens invading earth. When he was younger he used to pretend he was an alien, he would wear this silly alien mask and scare the shit out of Mikey. It was his favourite game. Gerard found himself staring at his phone. He was tempted to text Frank, but didn't whether to or not. Would it be too soon? Gerard shrugged to himself and quickly texted Frank.

Notes
Yah, so. Yeah. ahaha. I have no idea what's going on sorry (Sorry for any mistakes)
Happy Gerard is so cute!
I think he won't tell Frank about his illness, and Frank won't probably tell him about his life. ( it would be cool to be able to predict the future) (random thoughts)
Keep going!
xx (:
