Isn't That Something

“Come on Gerard, I’m 18 now let me go on tour with you guys,” I said chasing after Gee. Both my brothers, Gerard and Mikey, were in a band.
“Oh come on Gee she’s old enough now. All we have to go is give her food and she’ll be all good,” Mikey said hugging me and then squeezing my cheeks. Gee sighed and looked at me with soft eyes. I got him now!
“Fine, you can go but you have to clean after yourself and watch yourself, alright?” he said. I nodded and hugged him.
~Week later
“Hey guys!” I yelled hugging Frank, Ray, and Bob. They hugged me tight and I sat with Ray and Bob. We three were really close and we plan to be this summer.
“So , Crow, what have you been up to?” Ray asked. To tell him the truth it was nothing besides fighting with one of the guys that I thought was going to be my boyfriend.
“Just fighting with this guy,” I said. Ray looked at me.
“Your friend?” he asked. I nodded my head. He looked at me then shook his head and Bob did to.
“He doesn’t know what he’s missing. A girl like you! I’m surprised that you aren’t already taken by someone,” Bob said. I blushed and smiled. Gee doesn’t like my friends at all in fact he would prefer that I didn’t have any. I was a loner anyway.
Once we took off I was ready to see all the cities that we were going to. I was the youngest in the Way family even out of our cousins. I was somewhat spoiled by the family but that was them I was also the only girl that was born a Way besides the ones being married into the family. Anyway we first arrived in New York. I’ve never been besides to visit some family that lived here.
“Crow, call mom and tell her that we are in New York,” Gee said standing up. We got off the bus as I was telling mom where we were now. I was in shock. It was amazing being here. We all walked into the venue to sound check.
“Crow, do you still know how to play guitar,” Ray asked. I smiled and nodded. Ray was the one that taught me how to play and read music. The guys were and are the best family of friends that I could ask for.
“I have to get new strings for my acoustic but the electric is just peachy,” I said. Bob and Frank came over to us.
“You guys want to get food?” Frank asked. Ray and I agreed and all of four of us went to a burger joint down the street.
“So, Crow, why don’t you have a guy?” Bob asked.
“Because men are assholes,” I replied.
“Hold on now not all guys just immature ones. You need to find someone more mature like you,” Ray said. Now is Confession time! I have always loved Ray and I know that he knows.
“Well there is one guy I like but I know that Gerard and Mikey would kill me if they knew who,” I said eating my burger. I look all sweet but when it comes to food you better back the hell away.
“Well if they want you to be happy they will have to ignore it,” Ray said, smiling.

We finished eating and went back to bus where Mikey and Gee were drinking Starbucks. I went to the bunks and I didn’t know that Ray followed me. He pushed me into the bathroom and shut the door. He kissed me. I was so shocked I didn’t know what to do. He pulled away.
“I know that you like me and now you know that I like you,” he said kissing me again. I kissed back. His hands moved to my waist as I put my hands on his chest. He pushed me against the door when I heard Gee knock on the door.
“Crow are you okay,” he asked. I turned my head as Ray started to kiss my neck.
“Yeah, I’m just putting on my make up,” I lied.
“Okay cool,” he said then I heard him walk away.
“Alright Ray,” I said. He smirked against my neck and pulled away. Ray left out of the bathroom and into the backroom to play video games with Bob. I quickly put on my makeup and My Chemical Romance went to the stage and hour later.

After the show, we all went out to get some food and snacks and drinks for the bus. Once Mikey and Gee were asleep, Ray, Frank, and Bob where still up. The guys were playing Mortal Kombat and talking. Ray grabbed my hand and pulled me into his lap and put the controller in front of me while he was still playing. I smiled as he kissed the top of my head. Bob and Frank, obviously, knew that we were seeing each other. After a while, I piled up in Ray’s bunk with him and we fell asleep.
When we got up, we were in Maine and I followed up by calling mom.
“Hey mom,” I said going to Starbucks, which was right next to us, “We are in Maine now. I also have something right next to us, “We are in Maine now. I also have something to tell you.”
“Let me guess, Ray finally told you that has feelings for you,” she said happily. I told mom everything
“Yes exactly!” she started to laugh.
“I’m happy for you, Crow,” she said.
“Anyway just wanted to tell you where we were and the good news. I love you, mom,” I said then hanging up and getting coffee. I sat down at a table and Ray along with Mikey came in to get coffee.
“Why are you here alone?” Mikey asked.
“Free Wifi.”
“Oh I see. Anyway I needed my coffee fix before we go,” he said getting in line. I shook my head. Once they were done, I went to play on Ray’s guitar. Sometimes I just like to be alone. I heard Gee, Mikey, and Frank came in to see what I was playing.
“I was playing Scream by A7X,” I said giving Ray, who just got back there his guitar back.
“You still play good,” Ray said sitting down.
“I was taught by the best,” I said winking at him. He smiled and I walked to the front to get food.
