Frank's P.O.V.:
"What the fuck, Gerard? What's wrong with you? Why would you say that?" I said as I got dressed to look for Alex.
"Why? Isn't she one of your hook ups?"
"You know, i actually like her. She's... Ugh... I can't believe you said all those things, she's had a shitty day already. Just because you didn't have the guts to ask he out it doesn't mean I'll be as irrational as you are. She's great, man."
"You don't know why I didn't ask her out, she was just... She was too good for me. What happened to her? Did she lose her guitar pick?"
"No, idiot, Bert almost raped her" said Mikey as he came down his bunk, grabbed a flashlight and left
"What? That's bullshit... She probably went and looked for him"
I felt my blood boiling, Gerard could get so stupid when he got drunk and high.
"She went to the woods looking for you, she was worried about you and you chose to believe what a sick junkie tells you?"
"I didn't know he did that to her"
"Dude, she cared for you. I mean, when you were drunk that night she tried to carry you back here. People started to gather around and take pictures and she avoided them to take your face" said Ray
"Bob, could you go with Mikey? I'll catch with you guys later" I said as I texted Alicia to get Alex's number. Bob nodded and got off the bus quickly. Ray and I stayed in to deal with a drunken Gerard.

Alex's P.O.V.:
I walked down the lot, half of the buses were gone. On one side I saw a bunch if people gathered around in a circle, it was Sonny, Derek and Travis.
They were kicking Bert on the floor, I couldn't see things well but I could see he was badly hurt. I wanted to get closer but I felt someone's hand on me.
"Mikey, what are you doing here? Get back to the bus, I'll be fine"
"No, I'm taking you back, you can't be by yourself here"
"I'll be fine, look they're kicking Bert's ass"
"I know, I had to avoid you looking at this, if they see you here I'm fucked"
"Well... We should help him out... He doesn't deserve to be harmed that way"
"Alex, please, come with me. Sonny told me you'd say something like that, leave it to them. He's a rapist. They'll know when to stop, just come with me"
I followed Mikey back to the bus, while we were on our way Bob came across us and helped me carry my bags.
He seemed calm, "don't listen to Gerard, it's been hard for him letting you go and his grandma... Plus,he just broke up with... I can't remember her name"
"Eliza?"
"Yeah... She was..."
"Weird? I didn't like her either"
"Well I think no one did, I never really bought her enthusiasm"
"Yeah... Thanks for helping me"
"Don't worry, now, if you're talking to him just take it easy. Okay?"
"I will"
He left my bags in a couch near the front door. Mikey came in and sat next to me.
"Well, Gerard's asleep. I think you should sleep with Frankie. Go in his bunk, I'll call him and tell him you're back. You look really tired"

"Frank? Hey, sorry, didn't really hear you come in last night"
"I'm glad you're back, I guessed you were tired... I tried talking to you last night but you were fast asleep"
"Yeah I was beat, I tried waiting for you but as soon as-"
He laid his lips on top of mine while holding my hands.
"You're not just a one night stand, i like you"
"I don't know... I feel weird about that, I mean, I'm not a supermodel"
"I'm not a rock star"
"Come on... Warped was packed because of you guys"
"Or because they heard a hot 22 year old was playing guitar in FFTL"
"They wanted to see me get the chords wrong, I know it"
"This has been the best tour ever" he said while caressing my cheeks, "want to keep sleeping? I'll go get breakfast for everyone"
"I wanted to take a shower, I'll wait for you here"
"Okay then, be right back"
He left the bus, everyone was asleep. As I tried to put my boots on so I could look for a shower I heard someone stumble upon the bus. I ran outside and saw Gerard with a bottler of Smirnoff in his hands.
"Alex, Alexiiiii, baby"
"You have a problem, Gerard. Hold onto me, we have to get inside"
"There's nothing wrong with having a drink with lunch"
"It's 7 in the morning"
"Shut, then it's breakfast time"
"Gerard, please, hold onto me. We have to get you into bed"
"I'm sorry Alex I didn't anything mean last night I sad "
"What?"
"Bert not cool last night I know"
"You're not making any sense..."
"I don't want to keep living anymore, I'm useless. I can only fuck things up and be a fucking coward, I never asked you out because of that you were too good to me and I was wrecked. I should just kill myself already"
He grabbed my face and started shaking
"Gerard, what did you take?"
"I just took a heroin and ecstasy"
"Why? Why would you do that?"
"I fucked up"
"Yes you did...", I said as a gabbed him and laid him on the floor, "Mikey, Ray, Bob, help me"
Gerard has started shaking and puking. The guys dealt with him while I went look for a doctor.

After having a very busy morning, I finally got home.
My house was just as I left it, my parents had moved to Europe a while ago so I had been living by myself just before I moved to New York.
I received a text from an old friend, "Heard you were back in town, I just got off tour also, stopping by your house in a few"
As I attempted to answer the text, the doorbell rang, it was Gerard.
"Hey"
"Hi... Feeling better?" I said as I signalled him to come in
"Yeah... Look I wanted to talk to you about something"
"Okay... What is it? Are you going to stop drinking?"
"Yeah, I'm quitting drugs too. I just got off the phone with Bert... We got in a serious fight, I don't think I'm ever speaking to him ever again"
"Okay..."
"Alex, I never meant any of the things I said I was really high. I really care about you and I think Frankie does too, I'll stay out of it"
"Well I'm glad you're going to stop drinking, it was getting pretty serious. I'll be here for you, okay? I'll probably be touring with you guys in a few weeks, I have to replace Matt until October"
"That's great, I'm glad you're back. Alex..."
"Yes?"
"I loved you"
"I loved you too, it's a shame we didn't make things work"
"Yeah... Are we good now?"
"Sure, you'll always be the guy who took me to the best and first concert ever"
"I took your virginity, concert wise"
The doorbell rang again, "Gerard could you get that? I need to go to the toilet for a minute"
"Sure"
As I went into the toilet to look for my stomach pills, I heard Gerard's laugh. He probably met Lynz. I met her in art school, she was the coolest person I ever met.
I walked out and saw them talking to each other, I could see they were amazed by each other. She ran towards me and hugged me.
"I missed you so much, little misfit"
"I missed you too, Lynz, how was London?"
"It was awesome, I heard you were touring with Gerard over here"
"Oh yeah, Gerard this is -"
He smiled broadly without taking his eyes off her, "Lynz, I know. Alex would you mind if I took Lynz for coffee? You probably want to get some rest"
"Oh.. Uhm... Yeah, no problem. I guess we'll catch up later, Lynz"
She left with Gerard, while at the door she signalled me she would call me later, I hadn't seen any of them that excited ever.
