I'm Not Okay

Not long after Gerard left to take care of peanut I fell asleep. When I woke up I was in the same position but I heard the T.V in my room on at a low volume and I heard Gerard next to me shushing someone; I also heard Bryce's blabbering.

"Shh peanut, you're gonna wake up daddy." I heard Gerard whisper.

"Too late." I said into the pillow, I stretched a bit before rolling around to meet them. I smiled at the sight before me, Bryce was is nothing but a diaper and he was laying face down on Gerard's shirtless chest.

"Hey beautiful." Gerard greeted me then bent down to peck my lips. I smiled and returned the peck.

"Look baby," I said sitting up and taking peanut into my own arms, he blabbed in delight. "I'm sorry about how I acted earlier, I just was embarrassed beyond belief and -"

"Baby its okay. You're pregnant, with twins, you're hormones are kinda going crazy right now."

"Thanks for understanding." I said then kissed him again.

"So I was thinking about names." He started.

"Already?"

"Yeah I was just thinking, if there girls maybe Francesca and Giovanna."

"Heavy Italian first name Giovanna is."

"Yeah well Bryce's middle name is Antonio. But that's not why I chose them..."

"Then what is?" I asked.

"For Francesca we can nickname her Frankie and Giovanna we can nick name her Gee." He said then blushed down at his lap.

"I kinda love it." I told him, he looked up at me with bright eyes then kissed me.

"But they need middle names to."

"Okay, Francesca Elizabeth Iero-Way?" He suggested.

"Wow that's perfect, I really like it."

"Thanks. What about Giovanna?"

"Giovanna Elena?"

"Really?" He asked with a sparkle in his eyes.

I nodded.

"Oh thank you Frankie." He said then hugged me, Bryce was in between us so he didn't hug as tight as he would have liked.

"Now what about boys?"

"We can go with Gerard and Frank?" He offered.

"That's kinda weird."

"Yet nick naming them isn't?"

"Exactly."

"Well alrighty then, what do you suggest?"

"Uh, Levi, and Cameron."

"I like Levi I just am not too fond of Cameron."

"Well what do you suggest?"

"Matthew."

"I like Cameron better."

"Well I like Matthew better." He said matter-oh-fact like.

"Well let's ask peanut."

"You wanna ask a four month old on what he would like to name his little brother?" He asked.

"Yes,"

"Then be my guest." He smirked.

I stuck my tongue out at him then placed peanut on his back in-between Gerard and I. I leaned down and gave him butterfly kisses until his legs were kicking and he was squealing in delight.

"Do you like daddies name for your brother or-" I started but Gerard lightly shoved me away from him and then blew raspberries on his sons stomach.

"Or do you like other daddies name?" He asked in a baby voice and Bryce was giggling from being so ticklish.

I pushed Gerard away from him then we brought our faces up to his, he was still laughing then looked between the two of us then picked up his small hand and tapped Gerard's nose.

"Ha! I win!" Gerard said moving up then grabbing Bryce's legs and dragging him around the bed by his legs. I forced a scowl at him as he played with his son but that didn't last long because the two of them were so damn cute.

I laughed at them and Gerard looked up at me with a goofy grin, he picked up peanut and handed him over to me, when I took him he got off the bed and went under it and came back up with a bottle of water. I gave him a questioning look as he handed it to me, I still took it though. He tried to take Bryce from me but I wouldn't let him, I tucked Bryce in my neck and held him close, he started waving around his hands but he stayed where he was. With my other hand I opened the water and took a swig of it.

"Not that I'm complaint but since when is there a case of water bottles under our bed?"

"Since I read that when someone is pregnant with twins they need to drink a lot of water, so I wanted to keep them someplace that's easy for you to reach."

"How sweet." I said as I leaned in to kiss him.

“So Levi and Matthew, what about middle names?” He asked.

“Levi Quinn and Matthew…”

“Collin? Matthew Collin?”He suggested.

“I like it.” I said then leaned in to kiss him again.

After I pulled away we both smelled something fowl and at the same time we both looked down to peanut who had a scrunched up little red face. After a bit of the smell staying in the air my stomach started to turn; I quickly handed him to Gerard and ran into the bathroom that was attached to our bedroom and threw the contents of my stomach out.

"You okay baby?" Gerard asked from the door, he was holding Bryce who still stunk.

"The smell." I gagged out before I continued to spill my guy into the toilet.

"Gotcha." He said then left the room with peanut, not long later the smell went away and so did my nausea. After I brushed my teeth twice and frank some more water I went into Bryce's room where I saw Gerard on the phone with god knows who while peanut was laying down in his crib waving around his arms and legs, he had a new diaper on so I smiled down at him and picked him up and took him to his changing station. There I dressed him up in his outfit for today, or at least the rest of the day it was nearing four in the afternoon.

"Hey babe, I got some bad news." Gerard told me once he got off the phone.
