I Can Hear You (rewriting)

They'll Never Let You Leave So You Can At Least Try To Have Fun

Already at school? Well can't help, this is what I wanted and I sure as hell aren't going to back up. I put on my hearing aid on and get out of the car with my notepad and school bag. As I'm walking inside I feel someone touch my shoulder and as I look that way someone pokes my face, really hard.
- Morning darling. Frank says in the most cheerful voice ever and makes a huge smirk as he walks away, WITH MY NOTEPAD! I run next to him and take a hold onto my notepad but Frank doesn't let go.
- What do you want? he says now irritated and as his normal self. I point at my notepad and tried to make puppy eyes but of course Frank doesn't care and he pulls it harder, and as I start pulling it harder, he lets go of it so I fall down with my notepad.
- Oopsie, now beat it. he says and walks away laughing. And I notice that I'm on the ground like I was yesterday. Mikey helps me up once again and takes my notepad for me, and then he turns his head, and so do I.
- Hi Gerard! Good morning. How was your first day? I didn't see you after our first class anymore... I can't help but to smile to Ray, he's so awesome. I start writing my answers and explanations for him, and as he reads it he starts to frown, he looks so funny that I had to giggle at him which causes a weird look from him.
- Frank is just our schools stupid bully, don't mind him. well yeah, it's quite hard not to mind about him when he's always breathing on your neck.
- But we should better be going, because our classes starts in two minutes. and with that the three of us run to our own classes. Ray wasn't in same biology as I, so I just sat alone in front. I didn't actually take any notes, I was thinking how to ask Frank why he's bullying me. I missed the bell ring and Frank kicked my leg to wake me up from my trance. He just smirks at me and walks away, what a bitch...
I walk into the hallway and check my timetable to see that next I have art, finally something I'm good at. Now I'm bit happier and as I get to my art class my mood is ruined by Frank and his blonde friend who mocked me yesterday. When they saw me sit down they both smirked to each other and I was horrified what would happen in this class. After all it wasn't that bad, of course Frank 'accidentally' used my eraser to it's end but that was all.
Now it's math, most terrible school subject in history. As I got into classroom I see that only free seat is behind... and next to Frank. I slowly walk to there and take a seat next to him and he smirks at me, oh this is so not going to end well. I couldn't hear what teacher was saying, but I really didn't want to fall behind so I did what I had to do. I asked Frank if he could tell me what teacher was saying, and well Frank nearly cracked up but he still could keep it inside. Well now I couldn't do anything so I decided to draw instead, and I could see Frank checking on what I was drawing every once in awhile. Now I knew what to do, I erased everything I had been drawing and started to draw Frank. And as my sketch was ready, Frank was already opening his mouth, but I fastly wrote that question what had been going through my head all this time "Why do you bully me?" Frank stared in shock at what I had asked, but then of course he had a good answer:
- Because you're not fighting back. I nodded to that approving, and the bell rang right after my nod so everyone was walking out of to the classroom like Frank and I.
Now was lunchbreak but I didn't feel like going so I went to my next classroom, or in the hallway because I didn't want to be half an hour early. I made a new drawing of Frank, and another, and another, well what can I say? He has beautiful artistic features. Before I noticed our class was starting and Ray was there saving me a seat.
- Hi Gerard. How did your day go so far? Ray's happiness made me forget Frank, he's an awesome guy and a fantastic friend, if I can say that yet. I just smiled back at him, and before I knew class was over, and that meant school was over.
There were so many people in school halls it was a miracle I found my way out. I saw Mikey outside probably waiting for Donna, and I sneaked behind him quietly and pulled my finger down his back, and I promise, if I hadn't been already deaf, now I would be. Mikey slapped me but I just laughed and finally He laughed too. He talked to me about comics and I was more than glad to just listen him rant, though I would like to rant for someone else like that. But before he had time to tell me something funny about vampires, Donna arrived and we got into car, I took off my hearing aid and sat in silence, smiling to myself, maybe high school isn't that bad after all, there are those stupid idiots but guys like Ray and Mikey makes it worth it.
