Saturday

The day wore on, but still the rain would just not let up. It was clear that Jamie was getting antsy; she obviously couldn't stay in one place for too long. Ray had taken to his bunk, occasionally strumming something on the guitar he brought, but mostly he napped. Jane watched Jamie pace the room. "I'm sure there's something in here we could do. Movie?" She suggested as Jamie paced by her. She shook her head. Frank on the other hand nodded. He would have loved to watch a movie right now, so he could sit right next to Jane and maybe cuddle like they had done earlier. It was so nice to have her so close to him like that, and he longed for it again. Badly.
"Are there... Are there any closets in here?" Jamie asked, searching the room. "Maybe there's a puzzle or a game or...
SOMETHING", she groaned as her searching grew more frantic. Jane suddenly got an idea. She stood up and padded over to her little bag of personal belongings, then pulled out a small portable speaker. She brandished it in the air towards Jamie. "How about music?" She asked hopefully, and Jamie's eyes lit up. "Sure!" She said and sat down, her feet fidgeting as she twiddled her thumbs. Maybe she has ADHD, Jane thought to herself. She just has so much... energy. It was crazy.
Jane grabbed her phone from her bunk and plugged it into the little speaker. She hit 'shuffle', and Whoa by Paramore came on as the first song. She smiled. This was one of her favorites. As the guitars started and the lyrics began, Jane bobbed her head to the beat. She looked around and chuckled a little when she saw Frank and Jamie doing the same thing. When the chorus came around, Jamie jumped up and danced a little bit, gladly letting some energy out. Jane laughed and sang along to the chorus. She was sitting next to Frank, who had slowly inched his way closer to her. She didn't mind it. She actually was pretty convinced that Frank was taking a liking for her. Which was relieving, because she was doing the same.
The song went on, and Jamie was still dancing and fluttering around the room, poking the sleeping Ray with a huge, devious smile. Ray didn't seem to wake up, though. Or be bothered by Jamie's instigations, for that matter. Jamie didn't seem to be paying much attention; she was lost in the music. So Frank saw it as an opportunity. His heart raced as he thought about what he was about to do. Jane was still singing along, she had quite a pretty voice. Just one more thing to like about her, Frank thought to himself and grinned a little bit. With most of his courage, he slowly wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She looked up at him and they both smiled at each other, and Jane nodded. Before she could turn her head and start to sing again, though, Frank used his emergency supply of courage and leaned his face in.
