Behind Amber Eyes

Party

The four killjoys made their way back to their car. Party couldn't help but think about how peculiar that girl was. She was all alone in the outskirts in Battery City. She didn't look like a drugged citizen, but she wasn't a killjoy either. There was something about her that sparked Party's fascination. He wanted to find her again.

"Who was that?" Party asked.

"I thought you would've gotten a name after all that time with her," joked Ghoul.

"I asked, but she was so dismissive," Party said.

"You might've interrupted something she was doing," added Jet.

"Possibly," murmured Party. With that, the conversation was dropped and the Fabulous Killjoys drove off, away from Battery City and even further away from the mysterious girl.
