Kids in Love
Chapter 13
The girl looked like she was perched on Frank's lap. She was petite and dark haired, from where Alice was standing she could see the girls hands wrap around his neck and brush through his hair. Alice couldn't even decide how she felt about what she was seeing, she wasn't even sure she had fully processed it yet. It was hard to look away but her stomach fluttered with butterflies when she saw them. Alice couldn't go over to him, she knew she wouldn't be able to keep her composure, she'd do something stupid and make a fool of herself by getting irrationally angry or upset. She took a moment to breathe before she got back to Mikey at the bar. "Well, did you get him?" He asked, still laughing at how shakily and slowly she was walking, "I'm gonna take a guess that you didn't."
Alice nodded, her stomach was still uneasy. "I couldn't find him anywhere, sorry." "You're fine, sit. I'll go have a look." Mikey left to find Frank.
Alice knew that she was being irrational, she shouldn't be upset about seeing Frank with another girl. He had no idea she felt about him, neither did she really, and she couldn't blame him for being with another girl. She knew she was being stupid but she was tired, slightly drunk and really couldn't help herself. It didn't take long for Mikey to find Frank and drag him away from whatever girl he was with. Alice tried to avoid seeing him, in her state she didn't trust herself not to let something slip. She went to tell Gerard they were leaving and ta say goodbye to Lindsey. "Sorry to interrupt," she approached them, "C'mon dude, we're going now." she told him and turned to Lindsey, "and it was really nice talking to you earlier, bar-tending is surprisingly fun." "Yeah, it was nice to have someone back here with me for once!" she laughed, still full of energy it seemed, "Here," she grabbed some napkins and a pen from behind the counter and scribbled something on one of them before sliding it across to her, "that's my number, text me if you wanna hang out or something." Alice picked it up and said goodbye, going ahead out to the van to leave Gerard and Lindsey alone for another minute.
When she got outside the van was already parked at the door, Ray was sitting in the driver's seat playing with the radio. Alice pulled the passenger side door open and hopped into the warm seat, pulling the seatbelt across her chest and snuggling up against the window. "You okay there?" Ray asked looking at the ball curled up in the seat next to him.
"Mm." she responded and turned her head slowly to look at him, "I'm just tired is all, and I might be a little bit drunk. I don't do this often..." she explained. "It's okay, I get it. Just have a rest, I can wake you when we get to your house, cool?" his voice was soft and quiet. "Thanks" she tried to say but ended up yawning instead. She laid her head on the window and closed her eyes, she thought she heard the others getting in the back of the van after that but she was half asleep by then.
Notes
Enjoy the chapter. Thanks for all of the views and comments and subscribers! You guys are awesome.
Side-note: Y'know how a few years ago there were a tonne of Danger Danger era fics everwhere, now I'm finding it very difficult to get a hold of decent ones. Does anyone have any recommendations? (include your own fics too of course!)

I just came across this story and it's so good I love it! I read the whole thing in one day!
for some reason it seems pointless for me to ask for an update, but I will anyways.
I need to know how it ends! You'd be the most amazing person ever if you update this now after so long!
