Don't Waste Your Wish

"Lorrie!" Gerard says over and over again, waking me up from my peaceful sleep. "What Gee?" I say yawning and wiping my eyes, "I have a whole week of fun planned!" He says smiling. I get up out of my bed and push him out.

"Okay Gerard just let me get dressed." I say locking my bedroom door and holding back the sobs. I am going to die in one week. Technically six days, sometimes it's hard to breathe, other days its hard to walk. Today I feel fine.

~30 minutes later~

I've gotten my outfit ready and headed down the hall, I've decided to wear my batman skater dress with some yellow stockings and my black ballet flats.

"Are you ready Lorrie?" Gerard asks as I enter the kitchen, "yeah I'm ready." I say and he gives me a hug not a normal hug, a bone crushing hug. "Gee, I c-cant breathe." I say and he immediately lets me go, "shit sorry are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?!" He says frantically, "Gee it's alright, I'm alright lets just go have a good day." I say and we walk out of my house.

-2 hours later.-

First off we went to the arcade, then Gerard took me shopping and now we are at the carnival. "Gee how can you afford this?!" I ask, well yell. We are on 'The Mountain,' "I've been saving for something special!" He yells back, after we went on the bumper cars and took spastic photos in the photo booth Gerard decided to end the day on the Ferris wheel.

"Gerard this is lovely," I say staring at the sunset, "it's not the only lovely thing." I hear Gerard whisper, "what?" I say calmly staring into his eyes. "Nothing, don't worry." He says smiling. I wrap my arms around my best friend and we watch the sunset.

The perfect ending to a perfect day.
