The End
Frank's POV
The end was near. Too near. It was like a black hole threatening to swallow Frank into oblivion. But there was no escape. The end was coming and there was no way to avoid it. The end of summer, that is. He groaned, rolling out of bed and ignoring his closet, electing to wander around the house in his boxers.
"Morning!" His mom called cheerfully as he stumbled into the kitchen.
"Morning..." He replied, stifling a yawn. It was almost noon, but during summer, noon was too early. It took him a few minutes of sitting at the kitchen counter staring at the tile to realize his mom was talking to him.
"-and tomorrow I was thinking we could go shopping for some new clothes. I know you've grown out of a lot of your old clothes in the past couple of years, and I think we might have lost some during the move." She sat down next to Frank, smiling.
Frank nodded, trying not to show how excited he was at the prospect of new clothes. He hadn't really gotten anything new since freshman year and as a soon-to-be senior he definitely needed to fix that.
"Great! Although you might have to be up a little earlier than noon, sleepyhead." She ruffled his hair affectionately and left the room.
Frank gave her a small smile and started thinking about what to get. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
Notes
Okay I know this chapter is incredibly, painfully short, but I'm going to be starting a new chapter every time I switch POV so that might happen a lot.
@GeesGirl!
I'm glad :D
