The Other Half

I quickly started the car as the vampire spy attack us with its blazer, breaking the glass and piercing holes into the hood.
As fast as we could, we quickly get out of the diner's parking lot and sped down the highway as far from the Battery City barriers as we could. The vampire kept on shooting at us until it finally disappeared from our sight.
I slowed down, stopped on the side of the road, and checked behind the drivers seat.
"Is everyone alright?"
I find Frank, Ray, and Bob in the back seat, no issues at all and were loading their blazers.
"Yeah," Ray said, putting his blazer back in his holster. "Everything's alright."
"How did they even find us this time?" Bob asked, putting his vamp glove on.
"Well how ever they've done it, I'm just glad everyone's alright." I said.
I start up the car again and burned the road under our wheels as I accelerate into high gear. Before we knew it, something bashes against the back of the car.
I look in the review mirror and find a mustang, all white accept with the black picture of the "BLI" company. I also find a zombie driving, still bashing the back and in the next seat, was Denim. The BLI company manager.
"Oh crap.." I quickly shifted gears and sped up faster and took the railroad way, re-shifting into 4 wheel drive.
"I'm on it!" Frank opened the roof and quickly got his bazooka out and got ontop of the roof.
I look in the review mirror until Denim shot at me and broke the mirror. I got my blazer out and aimed it at the car, I take the first shot and broke their mirror before they had the chance.
Franks bazooka echoes as it bursts and creates an explosion. The mustang bursted into shreds and flames, frank gives a whoop and sat back down, loading his bazooka up and shutting the roof.
I smiled and laughed, I turned around and gave frank a high five as everyone laughed.
"Hit the brakes!" Bob said, pointing out infront of us.
I look and find the railroad going over a canyon, in the middle of the bridge was a pile of explosives.
I quickly hit the brakes and swerved to left, spinning uncontrollably. Just as I shifted gear, the air took over and threw us upside down. The car started flipping over and over like a rock rolling down a hill.
Then everything went black as I slam my head on the steering wheel.
~hours later~
I wake up on the ground, wincing at every breath I inhale. I stood up and grab the right side of my chest as a wave of pain took over.
As I move my hand from that spot I look at my hand and find blood staining my skin and darkening my black t shirt where a gash spilled out more. I must have got when the car flipped, a light bursts into my eyes and I quickly cover them, stagger back. I put my hand on a wall to support myself and waited for the light to dim out.
Shading my eyes I look to find my hand on glass, and through it there was a window, showing the darkness covering the city. The bright light slowly dims out until I was able to actually see. I look to the other side of my surroundings and find the BLI advertisement on a white wall.
"Oh god." I said, biting my lip when I finally realize where I am.
Battery City.
I frantically look around and find myself and my other allies in glass cylinder cases. We all looked at each other, knowing this isn't good, not good at all.
"Well, well, well..." I look towards the doorway and find Denim, smiling gleefully with two vampires behind him. One of them walked over to a high tech computer and was typing. "Everyone had a good nap I'm guessing?" He chuckles. "Good."
He slowly walked over to me, smiling evilly at my pale face. He put his white gloved hand up and I find my necklace, dangling from his grasp.
On it was my bright red life crystal, and half of a locket that was the shape of a heart. "I'm guess you won't be needing this do we?"
I growl and threw my fist at the glass, which made him laugh again. He also took everyone else's necklace to, they were held in clear tubes, dangling by their chains. Denim puts mine in one next to the computer.
"Now tell me..." He walked back towards me, his smile gone and a frown taking his place. "Where is the secret base?"
I stared at him blankly, adjusting my jaw.
He snapped his fingers and I fell to the ground, holding my chest and screaming with pain as the high voltage electricity pierces into my life crystal.
Denim:
I smile as Gerard fall to the ground, screaming with pain. As my minion turns the power down, Gerard coughs and gags with pain.
"Open the cylinder." I order and knelt down to Gerard's level at the glass cage disappears between us. "Where is it?"
He coughs and takes a gulp of air, he looks up to me and shakily gives me a weak smile. "I'd rather die than tell you." He said, his skin turning as pale as the white walls.
"Then so be it."
I snapped again and Gerard screamed with pain, gasping for air and arching his back. His friends screamed at me, begging for me to stop. I nod my head and Gerard screams louder as the vamp. turns up the voltage, letting it pierce into his crystal.
"Dad?"
I turn around and find my daughter Lily, staring at me with dilated shock in her precious blue eyes.
I quickly ran over to the voltage button and turned it off. She looked down at Gerard who coughed with pain and only took in shallow breaths, I look at his crystal and find a crack of blue in the middle of the whole crystal.
I smiled.
He's close to snapping.
"Dad, what's going on?" Lily asked, still staring at the boy.
"Um sweety, c'mon lets get out of here." I quickly walk over to her and turned her around, gently pushed her with my hand on her back out into the hallway. I turned around and watched the vampire put the glass back in place, in casing the outsider.
