You're Beautiful To Me

We spend the whole day together as a family, Mikey hanging out for a while before leaving again and in the late afternoon Miles is asleep on my chest, snuggled up under the blanket over us while I gently stroke his back and Anna is running around the room with her teddy bear getting increasingly sluggish when my mom comes in to pick them up, looking after them for the night while Frank stays with me again. Once the kids are in the pram, with only a small amount of protest from Anna who is now snoring softly, mom comes over and kisses my forehead as she hugs me, her eyes watery when she pulls away and I smile softly at her as I say "I'm ok Ma." "You better be" she says jokingly and we share a smile as she crosses the room back to the pram, wheeling it out of room and waving as she goes. Right after she leaves a nurse comes in with dinner, an extra plate coming in for Frank and I slowly pick at the food, eating about half before pushing it away and Frank frowns and says "Baby." "I'm full" I tell him and he sighs softly and nods before finishing his own dinner. A few minutes later the nurse comes back and takes our trays away and I roll onto my side, curling up a little and trying to make myself comfortable and Frank stands from the chair he's sitting in, sliding onto the bed with me and I slide back to give him room. Once he's settled i help him pull the blanket over himself and we lock gazes, our faces just inches apart as we share the pillow. "Gee" Frank says softly as he slides his hand out to rest on my hip. "I don't know if I can forgive you, but I love you" I tell him and he frowns and says "Baby, I'll do whatever it takes. I'm so sorry for doing that to you." We fall silent again for a while, just staring at each other before Frank starts leaning in closer and as he tilts his head I let my eyes slip closed and as our lips touch I feel a spark shoot down my spine and it reminds me of how I used to feel when we first got together and shared our first kisses. I lean into the kiss, desperate for the feeling it's giving me and Frank gives me exactly what I need, his tongue sliding into my mouth as he deepens the kiss and I slide forward so my body is pressed against his. "Gee" he gasps out as we break for air and I pant softly before saying "Frankie." "I love you" Frank whispers before leaning back in again and I kiss back, my hand sliding up to tangle in his hair and when Frank shifts slightly it puts pressure against my crotch and I let out a soft groan as I press into it, grinding my crotch into his and Frank stills. "Baby, we can't." "Please Frankie" I plead and he sighs softly and says "Baby I would love to, you know I would but it could kill you. As soon as the doctor gives you the all clear I swear you will be naked before you even know what's happening but for right now please understand that we can't." I sigh softly and pull back from him and Frank frowns and says "Baby, please don't be upset." "I'm fine" I say softly before rolling over and Frank spoons up behind me, his arm wrapped securely around my waist as he presses a soft kiss to the back of my shoulder. "Baby are you ok?" He asks softly and I nod before saying "Yeah I'm just tired." Frank hums softly before going quiet and a few seconds later he starts singing softly, his soft voice and warm body relaxing me and lulling me into sleep.

The next morning I wake up facing Frank, his arm still wrapped tight around my waist and my face buried in my neck and I snuggle even closer to him, letting my eyes slip closed again as his deep even breathing helps keep me feeling calm. Twenty minutes later Frank starts to stir and his eyes slowly flutter open, his arm tightening around me as he leans down to press a soft kiss to the top of my head. "Love you so fucking much baby" he says softly before adding "I'm so sorry I fucked this all up, but it's only you baby, no one else. Please don't leave me, please, I would do anything it takes." I shift slightly and whisper back "I love you Frankie." He tenses up before chuckling softly and saying "I thought you were sleeping." I pull back from him, laying back on the pillow as I look at him and smile as I say "So did you mean it then?" "Of course I did" he tells me and I bring my hand up to gently stroke his cheek with my thumb before saying "I'm incredibly hurt right now but I love you and I'll try to move past this." Frank breaks out into a massive smile as he says "Really?" "I never thought I would ever forgive a cheater but I'm trying. I love you Frankie and I need you in my life."
