And then the hurricane

~BZZZZZ bZZZZ~
I awake in the dark on the floor to the sound of my phone, my head is laying on Bo. Picking up my phone the screen reads. 'Geebear <3' quickly I sit up, making Bo yelp at the sudden movement, shushing him and hitting the call button and pulling the phone up to my ear I hear Gee hiccup.

"Gee? baby.."
"H-hey" He says with a shaky breath.
"What's happening?" "Is he alright?" I ask more awake.
"H-he had a severe asthma attack, and passed out... they think he hit his head on something when he fell." He begins sobbing.
"It's okay.... He'll be okay. you'll be okay." I coo
"T-there's bleeding in his brain. he's in surgery. W-what if I lose him! I can't lose my baby brother Frank! Oh my god Frank what if he's not okay." He starts hyperventilating "I-I can't lose him... not how" breath " I almost lost you... Frank..." I hear the phone crash onto the floor.
Fuck.
I quickly jump to my feet. knocking the dog food container on the ground.
"BO NO don't eat it all!" Fuck it I don't have time for this. I kick the food to the side and put Bo in his crate, leaving the house I grab my bike. It's a ten minute ride to the hospital at the pace I was going, so I get there pretty quick. I dump my bike in the bushes not bothering to lock it, Sprinting up the steps to the main desk. Panting.

"Please I need to get to Mr. Wa-" I trail off seeing the receptionist is my mother. "Mum?!"
"Frank?" She looks at me."what happened? why in gods name are you panting?! Baby.." I hear the panic in her voice.
"I thought you worked at the law firm? wait no that's not the point. I need to get to Mikey Way's room. like now."
she clicks things on the computer. "Sweetheart, he's in surgery..."
"I know! I'm here for my boyfriend!"
"Wait... Mikey's your boyfriend? Baby I'm so sorry!"
"NO! GERARD'S MY BOYFRIEND AND HE'S HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AND I NEED TO HELP HIM!" I scream in frustration. while the people around me look at the scene in front of them.
"FRANK IERO CALM DOWN!" she yells back, I sigh. "Room 208, down the hall to the right. sweetheart we have to talk tomorrow." I nod in response.
"Thank you mum." I stand on my tippy toes leaning of the counter planting a kiss on her cheek. She smiles I sprint off down the hall.
'204' '206' finally '208' I hear sobs coming from the room, not Gerard's though. more womanly. I quietly open the door, revealing a very white room. Mr and Mrs. Way are sitting in the corner of the room, Mrs. way sobbing and Mr. Way holding her close. on the other side of the room is Gee. sitting on a chair next to the window staring at the darkness as it was now night. I walk in no one notices me.. I walk over to Gee resting a hand on his shoulder. He jumps at the touch, his head spins my direction. His Raven locks messy and covering his face, eyes red and cheeks wet.
"Frankie." He murmurs looking at me deep in the eyes.
"Gee" I smile, brushing my fingers through his hair. His bottom lip quivers he then pulls me onto his lap.
"Frank, I'm so scared. My baby brother... I can't live with out him, he's always been there." He sobs onto my shoulder.
Wrapping my arms around him "He'll be okay baby, he's strong. Just like you." I coo , I pull away and wipe his cheeks with my selves then rolling them up. I forget my bandages. Tears began to stream down his face again.
"Please don't cry... pleasee... Gee" I plea.
"I-I can't lose either of you. it fucking scares me! Just thinking I could have been too late yesterday.."
I gulp hard tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, I love you."
"Frank no."
"Gee.. I'm sorry. I love you gee I won't do it again I promise"
"Frank shut up" He says calmly "I love you and I keep thinking the same notion today that every time we say the 'I love you's' it's still in the way of the goofy best friends we were two years ago. but fuck frank, I love you. The way you love the smell of rain and how when it pours you run outside bare foot, wet grass under your feet and your eye liner runs across your face without a care in the world. I want to wake up to your face in the morning, and be able to say 'He's fucking mine' Frank if everything you said is true in that letter.... I want you. I son't ever want to lose you I can't breath when I think about losing you or mikes, I need you" He breaths deeply
"It's all true and I'd never change a word in the letter."
"Be mine." He breaths
"Always" I kiss his temples and sit on his lap while his parents finally see the scene unravel in front of them.

After about an hour of whispering sweet nothings to Gerard, he fell asleep, It was 1 am now.
Shortly after a team of nurses walk into the room wheeling Mikey inside, tubes sticking out of his throat, Gee stirs a bit and he awakens. He cringes at the sight of one of the nurses sticking a needle into Mikeys arm. within a few minutes the crowd left and the Doctor stayed looking at the charts.
"Mr. and Mrs. Way. Mikey will be fine he'll be awake in about an hour, he might try to pull out his breathing tube so please inform us when he is awake he might panic from the surroundings so it's best to keep him calm and call us in. He will be making a full recovery, as far as the scans said earlier there should not be any damage." he smiles.
"Thank you sir" Mr. way say. The Dr. nods and then leaves. Mr. way then turns to me and Gee.
"Gerard, Frank why don't you two head home and get some rest, I'll call in sick for both of you. don't worry." Gee nods at his fathers words.
"And please.. be carefull" his mother adds. With that I stand letting Gee out of the chair. He walks over to Mikey and squeezes his hand.
"I'll see you soon buddy." He smiles. a stray tear rolling down his face. Gee holds out his hand, I take it.
"Get well dude. I know you will." I add before leaving and waving goodbye to Gee's parents.

We walk passed the front desk my mother still there. I wave to her with a smile. No use in being man at her, she's all the family I got other then the Way's... Gee waves to her as well. with a warm smile she waves us out the door.

The cold night air fills my lungs, I feel okay again. I think Gee does too.
