And then the hurricane
We burn sticks
We sat in the middle of the side walk until my breathing slowed down again. Gee pulls away and wipes the tears off my cheeks, pressing soft kisses on my face. We didn't care if the neighbors were staring at us through the windows.
"Frank, are you alright?" He asks in concern.
I shrug. "I don't know..."
"Come on Franks, lets go get some coffee." nodding in response he goes to stand, then helps me.
We head off into town, after a while walking Gerard slips his hand into mine and intertwines our fingers. Looking up at him a blush spreads onto my face. He smiles back so wide it looks like his face might split into two! I guess he was happy I'm still here. We reach the coffee shop and order our regular and a muffin. After we leave the shop we head to the park across the street, we always came here if we had problems or needed air. It had been a few weeks since I'd been here so when I saw the new jungle gym, I imminently hand Gee my coffee and start to climb up the front of the slide. Since my converse were so worn the bottoms kept slipping against the metal slide. Gee laughed at me and my struggle with the slide. Finally I got up the slide and sat down, Gee hands me the coffee and muffin. He then proceeds to get up the slide the way I had done as well, but makes it in one shoot.
"Show off" I mutter
"Dick" he jokes
"Arse hole"
"What are you?" he smirks
"A nice person." I stick my tongue out. He then leans over me and licks my cheek.
"GROSSS" I squeak he laughs at me and sits down next to me.
"May I have my coffee?" he asks with a smile still on his face.
"I donno..." I joke, he pouts like a small child.
"Please?" he tries once more with puppy eyes.
"Fine." I giggle handing him his coffee pressing a kiss to his cheek. We sat in a comfortable silence occasionally one of us takes a piece of the muffin. Gee always made me feel better, just being around him helped.
"Gee?" I say breaking the silence.
"Yeah?" he turns his head to look at me, giving a warm smile.
"I thought you weren't gay.."
"I'm not." He laughs "Frank, I told you before I'm bi" he giggles and flicks my nose.
"No you didn't" I protest he never talked about it, if I remember correctly. He laughs
"8th grade. Jamia's party. 7 minutes in heaven, ring a bell?"
"What? No.... wait..." I remember it now, as a joke Jamia and Ray picked us to go but I has kinda drunk for the first time so I didn't quite remember.
"It went kinda like this." he straddles my hips, pushing me against the bars of the jungle gym. Kissing me deeply, a quick swipe of his tongue against my bottom lips asking for entrance, I grant it. His hands trail up my sides, I brush my fingers through his hair moaning softly in his mouth. Out of no where Gerard's watch starts making a irritating noise. He pulls away.
A full on blush spreads across my face.
He laughs "And that how our seven minutes in heaven went." he smirks getting off me.
"I'm surprised you didn't remember" he adds.
"I was 14 and drunk Gee. You where 15 so shut up." I giggle and punch him playfully, he gazes passed me.
"Come on, lets go somewhere else" he says, I see a glint of anger in his eyes, I follow his gaze to two mothers holding back their children looking at us in disgust. He grabs his coffee and slides down the slide, I follow him. leaving the wrapper of the muffin and my coffee behind. I lost interest in it. I catch up to Gee. We're about 3 feet away from the two mothers that had finally let their kids go play. When Gee decides to talk to them.
"You know, we're people too." He says to the curly hared brunette calmly.
She scoffs in response. "As if my son needs to see two emo fags eating each others faces." I feel anger building up inside of me.
"As if you haven't done that to your husband. Nah I think not seeing as he married you some homophobic bitch." I spat angrily , she looked at me with shock and pure hatred.
Gee pulls on my arm. "Frank, lets go.." He whispers in my ear. I feel tears pricking my eyes, as if I didn't hear it daily by bullies at school. Turning away walking with Gerard out of the park. I hear the other mother yell. "Faggots!" I turn around almost ready to punch that woman in the face I screech at the top of my lungs "WHORE!". But Gee holds me back, he takes of running leading me by the hand. He stops running when we reach the music shop. Tears stream down my face once more for the second time today.
"Frankie, don't listen to those whores. They're just homophobic facktards." He wraps his arms protectively around my body.
"For one day I try to get away from that. One day, and they still yell it at me." I sob into Gee shirt.
"I know, baby. I know." He says softly pressing kisses on top of my head. After a moment I pull away and wipe the tears and snot on my sleeve. ( lets face it, we all ugly cry when this shit happens)
"Frank baby, cheer up." He smiles "I'll buy you a new cd for you."
"O-okay" I smile back at him. He gives me a quick peck on the lips and we head inside hand in hand.
Notes
This chapter because I really hate homophobic people. And I stood up to a group of bullies at school because they were picking on a gay kid, so I punched the leader in the face. So now I don't have to go to school tomorrow. eh it was worth it :) and I made a new friend. His name is Nico X3Rate
