I wanna live a normal life

~Gerard’s POV~
After almost a year of being on tour, Frankie and I were heading home which meant that we had to leave our secret affair in the tour bus. It’s going to be so hard to keep it a secret as Frank and I visit each other all the time.
We didn’t tell Helen or Billie when we were getting off tour; it would be a surprise for them on New Year’s Eve, which was being spent at my place.
~Frank’s POV~
I parked my car around the corner from Gerard’s place; we can walk from here and no one will see us as they will already be there. Well, I sure hope they are by now! It’s 11:58!
We walked around the corner and ran to the house, opening the door quietly. After closing the door, we snuck into the kitchen, just as the 10 second countdown started…
“10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Happy New-” everyone chanted but were cut off by us Gee and I running into the room.
“WE’RE HOME!” Gee and I shouted and everyone turned around with confused looks on their faces.
Once the two words finally sunk in, our wives screamed, then they and the guys practically pounced on us, hugging us incredibly tightly.
“Why didn’t you tell us you were coming back?” Helen and Billie asked, kissing their husbands deeply.
“We wanted it to be a surprise,” I replied, my arm around Billie’s waist.
“Dad we missed you!” The girls – Bandit, Cherry, Lily, Jazmyn and Demi – and Alex shouted, running over to me and Gerard.
“Hey girls, I’ve missed you too; so fucking much,” I said, hugging my daughters.
“How’s lady B? And little Alex too?” Gerard asked his kids and they replied quietly before Bandit burst into tears and hugged her father tightly.
My girls then cried and hugged me too. “Aww girls, don’t cry! I’m home now.”
“But you missed Christmas with us,” Jazmyn said, wiping her eyes.
“I know, I’m sorry,” I said, trying to think of something to make it up to them again…
