Don't Follow The White Rabbit.

Chapter Two: The Oak Tree

I don't know why but I was drawn to this White Rabbit, it appears that no one else notice's it's beauty. It hops away gracefully and I begin to race after it. "Alice?" The kind seamstress asks, "where are you running off to?" I stop quickly and say, "do you not see the rabbit?" She shakes her head in dismay, "oh Alice, you're a strange lass." I continue to chase this rabbit, not stopping to reply to her insult, I believe it was intended as an insult.

I chase the rabbit out of the town and into a quite eerie looking forest. I've been here before, I think. "Where are you little rabbit?" I call out even though I realise it is no use, "oh I'm late. I'm so late." I hear a distressed voice mutter. "Hello?" I say walking towards the voice. "The king, oh he will have my head for sure, I am that stupid to be late to him." The voice says again, I can hear a hint of fear in his voice, "who's there?" I call, running towards the voice. Then I saw the person or should I saw animal to which the voice belongs to.

The white rabbit was standing on its back legs and wearing a red waistcoat. "King Frank will certainly have my head now, where is that blasted hole!" The rabbit screeched in frustration. It was constantly looking at a pocket watch in the shape of a heart. I tucked my brown hair behind my ear and watched in astonishment, this was exactly like a dream I had. "Excuse me, Mr Rabbit." I say walking out of my hiding place. The rabbits ears prick up and his face turns to me, his eyes filled with a mixture of fear and rage. "Oh no, no, no, no." He says pulling on his ears. "Alice go home right now, if you end up in Wonderland Frank will go completely bonkers," I stare at him dumbfounded. "Frank?" I say and the rabbit scurries off.

Out of curiosity I follow him, ignoring his wishes. I follow him to a big oak tree with twisting branches, I hide behind some bushes and watch him eagerly, wanting desperately to find out what this strange little rabbit will do next. It's quite astonishing watching this rabbit talk proper English. He looks around and knocks on the oak tree three times.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Then to my amazement the ground in front of the tree opens up, revealing the hole I assume the rabbit was look for. The quickly jumps down and I watch as the hole closes up again. The sky is dark around me, they could be looking for me once again. They're going to ask me questions. Questions that I don't know the answer to. I have to follow the rabbit further. Down the hole.

I walk over to the tree and repeat what the rabbit is done, I must have been standing directly above the hole because the next thing I knew is that I was screaming. Desperately trying to cling on to a tree root or something. I'm going to die, I know it. "HELP!" I scream, looking up as the hole closes and dirt falls on my face.

It seems as if I will be falling forever. Then I fall as a heap. In a room with an insanely large chair and table, with a small glass box. I open the box to find a cake inside a cake with the writing.
