You Can Cry All You Want To, I Don't Care

"Frankie?" I answer the phone and I hear him say "Yeah baby I'm here. How are you feeling?" "I'm ok" I tell him and I hear him sigh before saying "How are you really?" "I..." I start but my voice cracks and I can't hold it in any longer. "Frankie I need you, so badly. It hurts so much and I can't do this..." "Shh baby just calm down, you're gonna be just fine I promise." "Please, Frankie" I beg, not knowing what I'm even begging for. "Oh baby" he coos and I break down in big ugly sobs that shake my whole body and I can't form actual words. Frank stays on the phone with me the whole time until I calm
down again and he says "Go get some rest baby, just switch off for a few hours." "I can't sleep without you here Frankie" I tell him and he says "Lay down and get comfy baby and I'll stay on the phone until you fall asleep." I stumble my way into my room and collapse on the bed, tugging the cover over my head. Frank just rambles on with pointless stories and his voice soothes me greatly, lulling me closer to sleep and I occasionally mumble back responses so he knows I'm awake and I groan before saying "Please Frankie" again and that's the last thing I remember before I fall asleep.

When I wake up again a warm body is pressed to my back and an arm is wrapped tightly around my waist and I roll onto my back, expecting Mikey to be in bed with me but when I turn my head it's Frank. I close my eyes tight before opening them again and he's still here, his arm pulling me closer to him and he smiles warmly at me as he says "It's alright baby" and I roll over and crush myself into his chest. "How are you...?" "I rang my mom and she signed me out for a while and Pete did the same and my mom came and brought us here." "Thank you" I mumble into his chest and his arms tighten around me as he says "No need to thank me, anything you need baby, I'll always do what I can to do it for you. I love you so much." "Love you Frankie" I say back as I close my eyes again, just relaxing in his warm hold and breathing in his familiar comforting scent. We lay in silence for a while before my stomach starts to rumble and Frank chuckles and says "Come on, let's get you some food." We drag ourselves out of my bed and go downstairs where we find Pete and Mikey curled up together on the couch watching a zombie movie and eating pizza. "Hey" Pete greets us and we grab the second unopened box of pizza on the table and settle on the other couch, opening the box across our laps as we sit side by side and start to eat as we get lost in the movie.
