You Can Cry All You Want To, I Don't Care

I let my eyes slip closed as Franks hands rub soothing strokes up and down my back and I shuffle closer, curling up on his chest as I lay almost completely on top of him, our legs tangled together and Franks heart beat is racing in my ear. He lets us lay in the quiet for a while, the only thing breaking the silence are my occasional soft whimpers that are eventually coming to a stop and Frank whispering sweet nothings and encouragements to me, helping me to calm down. "Frankie" I whisper after a while and he keeps stroking my back as he softly says "Yes my love?" "Please don't let me go." Franks arms tighten around me more as he says "I've got you baby, you're safe with me." I take a shaky breath, my eyes welling with tears as I say "I feel like I'm falling apart and you're the only thing holding me together, your arms are the only thing keeping me whole" I admit, my voice trembling as I feel completely overwhelmed. "Shh baby it's ok, I'm right here, holding you tight and I won't let you go I promise" he whisper in my ear and I try to snuggle closer to him, although it's impossible without burying myself under his skin. "I've got you my love" he whispers in my ear as one of his arms strokes up to gently card his fingers through my hair and I feel my breathing slowly start to calm down again. Twenty minutes later Frank is still laying beneath me, holding me tight and we have slipped into complete silence, my eyes closed and I am on the edge of sleep. Frank breaks the silence to ask "Gee, my love, will you come take a bath with me?" And I let out a soft groan as Frank helps me sit up, sitting with me and standing, pulling on his boxers before kneeling back down and wrapping the comforter around me before scooping me into his arms and carrying me from the room, my arms wrapping around his neck and my head resting on his shoulder.

When we get to the bathroom Frank sits me down on the closed toilet while he starts running the bath and I pull the comforter tighter around me, snuggling into it for warmth and when the water is running at a good temperature Frank comes back over and picks me up again, sitting down and sitting me in his lap sideways and I lean back against his chest, my head on his shoulder again and I press my nose into the crook of his neck, breathing in his scent. We spend a while in the bath before getting out and I dry off, wrapping myself in the comforter again as I have no clean clothes in the bathroom and before I turn to leave Frank cups my face in his hands and says "Let me look at your lip" and his thumb gently brushes over the busted skin, the wound slightly scabbed over and no longer bleeding and it throbs under his touch. "I'm so sorry babe." "It's ok" I whisper, staring into his eyes as I say "I wanted it." "I never wanted to actually hurt you" Frank tells me and I smile slightly, my lip throbbing again as I say "It's ok Frankie." Frank leans in and presses a soft kiss over my lip before pulling away and wrapping his arm around my waist, leading me from the bathroom and into the bedroom to get dressed again while he changes the sheets.

So inspiration struck and I have an idea for my next story but I need to finish some of the ones I have going at the moment so hopefully I'll still be inspired to write it by the time I get to it : )
