Days later Mikey finally woke up. He still hadn't talked since then but he was awake and smiling. I didn't quite know why he was smiling seeing as our plan had failed. Every time I asked him he would just close his lips and pretend to zip them. We left him be and waited for the day his surgery would go down. I was currently sitting with Frank in the nearest Starbucks a hot chocolate on hand. I couldn't get coffee and this was the next best thing. "So Gerard, you excited for school?" Frank asked lightly nudging my shoulder with his own. I shrugged and took another sip glancing out the window before looking at him. "I guess, not exactly looking forward to the ever present bullies and shit but at least you'll be there." I said nudging him back. He rolled his eyes and grabbed a few napkins before standing up. "Alright let's go. Your brother should be going into surgery soon. I nodded and followed him out. We had been getting closer and over the time we had spent in the hospital we knew almost everything about each other. "So Frank you excited to see your girlfriend back at school?" I asked the thought of his answer hurting me all by itself. "Nah, don't have one and I never will." He said starting the car. "Oh so you'll like die alone with cats?" I asked pointing a joke at him. He scoffed and rolled his eyes backing up as he did so. "No I mean I don't like girls, I mean sure they're nice but I'm into guys." He said smirking. I smirked and looked out my window. "What about you Gee Bee." He asked glancing at me through the side of his eyes his vision returning immediately to the road. "I'm into guys too." I admitted sheepishly. We didn't get much more conversation in and soon we were back in the parking lot of the hospital. Frank got out and helped me out and soon his lips and body crashed onto mine. My eyes widened and I closed them as soon as my body could respond to the shock and feel of his lips on mine. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him closer to me moaning when his fingers ran through my hair. Our tongues collided as soon as we caught our breath and I couldn't help but melt under his touch. We broke apart minutes later the need to breath more important than our make out session. "Well...that was..." "Great." We both panted out laughing at each others response. "Let's go check on your brother." Frank said taking my hand. I nodded and we both whipped our mouths on our sleeves to get rid of any slobber from the kiss. We were in the room soon enough and Mikey was already sedated. I held his hand and gave it a little squeeze. "Good luck lil bro." I said ruffling his hair before they came into the room to take him into surgery. Good luck Mikey...
