You're Not In This Alone

I open my eyes and the room is bathed in late afternoon sunlight, and I sit up, feeling slightly confused as I rub my eyes before the bed shifts and I look down beside me and see Ryan laying there, his eyes closed, breathing evenly and I remember that we were watching a movie and then he asked me to be his girlfriend and I smile wide as I realise we must have fallen asleep. I slide off the bed slowly, being careful to not wake him and leaving the room, going to the bathroom before going into the kitchen for a bottle of water and Pa and Dad are in there making dinner. "Hey sleepy" dad greets me, coming over to wrap his arm around me. "Hey" I croak out in my still sleep thick voice. "You feeling ok?" He asks, his hand moving up to touch my forehead. "Yeah I'm ok, just tired I guess." Dad smiles and I smile back as I reach out for the handle on the fridge door, pulling it open and grabbing two bottles of water. "Is Ryan staying for dinner?" Pa asks and I shrug as I say "I dunno I'll ask when I wake him up. Is it ok if he does?" "Of course it's ok baby girl, he's a good friend for you huh?" I lower my gaze to the floor as I say "Actually, we're kinda more than friends." I bite my bottom lip, unsure how they will react to the news and I feel a warm hand touch my chin, pulling my face back up and I'm looking at Pa's face. "He's your boyfriend?" "Yeah" I say softly and pa smiles and says "It's ok Rubes, if you're ready for that then it's alright with me and dad." I breathe out in relief as I step forward, burying my face in pa's chest and he wraps his arms around me, gently stroking my hair. "Thanks pa." "It's alright, no need to thank me. But I think we need to have a few rules ok, and you should understand we only want rules to keep you safe. So there will be no staying over at his house or sneaking out and if you are hanging out with him outside the house there will be a curfew." I pull out of his chest and nod, saying "I'm still kinda scared about it and I don't know what's going to happen and..." "That's ok, just don't let him pressure you into doing anything you don't feel comfortable with ok?" "I won't" I tell him and he leans in and kisses my forehead before saying "Ok baby girl dinner will be ready in like an hour." I nod, turning to leave the room as dad and pa turn to work on the lasagne and garlic bread they are making. When I get back to my room Ryan is sitting on the bed awake and when he sees me his face breaks into a massive smile. "Hey" he greets me and I smile back as I cross the room and sit beside him, handing him his bottle of water. He takes it and says thanks before opening the lid and taking a drink while I do the same and when we're done I say "So my dad's are cooking and they'd like to know if you want to stay for dinner?" Ryan looks at me for a few seconds before saying "Do you want me to?" "I'd like it if you did but if you have other stuff you need to do that's ok." "I have nothing else I'd rather do than spend more time with you" he tells me and I smile as I say "I'll be right back" getting up and going back to the kitchen to tell them he's staying. After I go back to the room I say "Wanna start another movie while we wait, it's still gonna be a while." "Sure" he tells me and I grab the laptop off the table, sitting it on the bed between our legs, grabbing the power cord and plugging it in so it doesn't die while Ryan starts another movie. We settle back together against the headboard and a few minutes into the movie Ryan's hand slides into mine and our fingers link together, both of us smiling as we hold hands until dad comes to the door and tells us dinner is ready. Dinner passes with small talk made between the four of us and after we've eaten Ryan offers to help with the dishes but pa waves him off and tells him it's fine. As we stand to leave the table Ryan pulls his phone from his pocket and checks the time before saying "Oh Ruby I gotta get going sorry, I'm meeting a friend and I'm a little late." "Oh, sorry for keeping you" I say as we walk out of the kitchen and he turns to me and says "No it's ok, I was happy being here, you're worth being late for." I smile as I walk him to my bedroom, waiting while he pulls his shoes back on before walking him to the door, stopping by the kitchen door while Ryan thanks dad and pa for dinner and says goodbye. Once we reach the front door he turns and kisses me softly, his hand cupping my cheek before pulling away and saying "Goodnight Ruby." "Have a good time" I tell him and we smile at each other before he walks away down the hall.

Later that night when I go to bed I press my face into the pillow Ryan was laying on, inhaling his delicious scent as I drift off to sleep and I dream about us in my bed, Ryan slowly removing my clothes as he presses soft teasing kisses all over my body until I'm fully naked before he dives in between my legs and starts licking and nibbling, teasing me as he eats me out and I feel my whole body tingling with pleasure, my hips arching off the bed and I feel myself orgasm hit and my eyes snap open. I lay panting in the dark before I sit up and turn the lamp on, my body covered in sweat and my heart racing and I feel the dampness between my legs and I slump back down onto the mattress as I feel the tingling aftershocks of the very real orgasm I've just had as a result of my sex dream about Ryan, a lazy smile spread across my face.
