Lord if you're listening please give me strength. I pray silently to a god I'm not even sure I believe in. I realise the freezing weather as soon as I look up. "Should've brought a jacket." I mutter toy self hearing the door open behind me. I stand and turn around putting on my brave face and smiling. "Hey gee." I say. "Hey Ana." He replies. When he calls me Ana I just look down not knowing what else to say to him. "Can we go inside now?" He leads me inside and I go to the room in so accustomed to staying in. I sleep in the same room as Gee we usually share especially after the first night of nightmares. I set my bag down and pull out my night clothes going into his bathroom. A loose T-shirt and baggy pajama pants. I stare ino the mirror. "You've come a long way Ana." I whisper smiling at my reflection. I exit the bathroom to find Gee sitting on his bed. "Hey." I speak timidly afraid he might be angry." "I'm sorry for coming so late." He looks up and smiles. "It's alright." He says. "I told you whenever you needed to you could." I could need get over how smooth his voice was or how beautiful he looked especially for a man. His hair was jet black and his eyes were stunning. I'd come to love him. Whether that was because I should or because he was the only one to show affection towards me, I didn't know. I smiled sheepishly and layed down on the bed and he laid down next to me. As soon as my head hit the pillow I realised how tired I was and curled into myself facing away from him. I know as long as I am here nothing can hurt me. Not even the man I called "father."
