If Lies Could Speak The Truth Then You'd Know Me

Lord if you're listening please put me out of my misery. That I what I think every day every night. I begin to count the kicks to my ribs. One, two, three, four. I heard a snap and I can tell he heard it too with the sick way he smiles. He pats my head. "Such a fucking slut Ana." He smiles sickly down at me and grabs me by the arm forcing me up and throwing me like a rag doll onto the bed. He climbs on top of me and licks down my neck. I choose to block out what comes next. I don't scream for help I learned from the last time. I don't cry. My should is two broken. I don't open my eyes. My stomachs too weak. All excuses I give myself for letting it happen. I wait until I hear the door close before opening my eyes and searching for my phone.
"can I spend the night?" First text to Gee.
"Sure. I don't see why not. Try to ask sooner next time though. It's like almost midnight."
"okay. I'm packing now I'll be over in ten. Thank you so much." "See you soon."
I get up and start packing grabbing my side awkwardly. "That's gonna bruise." I sigh and keep going opening my window and climbing out using the fire ladder to descend onto the lawn. I run to Gee's house. Getting almost there before I stop funning to attempt to catch my breath and failing awfully. Every harsh breath I take sending shooting pain to my side. I start to walk to his house now knocking on the door and waiting for him to answer having finally caught my breath the arms not holing the bag wrapped around me to clutch my side awkwardly. "Just a minute!" I hear him say and I slide down to the ground sitting putting my head in my hands.
