***Taylor’s POV***
It was finally the end of the school day, and I met up with Mikey, just like Gerard told me to. “Ready to go Taylor?” He asked in a cheering mood. “Mhmm.” I nodded, as we headed down the street to the Way house. When we got there, we laid down our bags down and scurried over to the kitchen. “Want something to eat or drink? “He asked politely.”Nah, I think I’m good. ”I replied, as he closed the fridge. “Do you know when Gerard will be home?” I asked trying not to sound desperate. “Probably in an hour. “He responded as we ran up the stairs to his room.

Mikey was showing me some songs he wrote on his bass, when we both heard a slam of the door. “Taylor, Mikey I’m home! “Gerard yelled, his voice echoing through the house. “Okay, we will be down in a minute!” He put down his instrument and walked me down the stairs on my injured leg. We entered the living room to see Gerard siting on the couch, making himself more comfortable. He took off his tie and jacket. “I see you both made it home safely. “He commented. ”Yeah, I was just showing Taylor my skills on the bass. “He giggled. Gerard smiled softly. “Well it’s good that you guys are learning more about each other. “He remarked. His hazel, brown eyes met mine. “Oh and Taylor, by the way I just called your step mom to let her know about the plan for after school.” I bit my lip nervously. “How did she react? Was she mad?” I asked, afraid to hear the answer. ”I would say she took it pretty well. “He replied. I was shocked. My stepmother was never easygoing. “Well that’s great!” I exclaimed.

For the next hour Mikey, Gerard, and I listened to a few albums and played several rounds of guitar hero. We all finally slumped down onto the couch from exhaustion. “What a tiring day! “Gerard claimed. We all agreed. We then continued to talk about different movies and bands, when my phone buzzed frantically. Who could be calling me right now? I shivered in horror when I saw the phone number. It was my step mom. What the hell could she want! I became sick to my stomach. I hesitated and finally answered the phone call.
