Ivory Blood Drops

*Time Lapse Two Years*
*Iris POV*
I walked into our apartment with Bob after getting off the bus to a silent apartment. It sounded almost as if no one was there. It was strange, because usually mom and dad were fighting or yelling about something. After that day two years ago, we stayed at Ray's house for about a month and then my mom bought this apartment about two minutes away from where we used to live. Apparently "You're going to be here for a while" meant a WHILE. About a year ago my dad found out where we were and moved in. He's always walking funny and his words are always unclear. Bob walked into the living room before I did, and what he saw must have been bad or sad because he started to cry. I walked in, and mommy was lying on the couch. She looked asleep but I knew better. My mommy was dead. There was red fluid oozing out of her slit open chest and he looked really pale. I felt her hand and it was cold. I guess dad went a little too far. Bob and I immediately started to pack our things and when we had all of our stuff sorted out we head for the door but our dad was standing there ready for us. "So you little pathetic girl trying to run away." I started to back up and told Bob with eye contact t o run for the fire escape and use that to escape and I'd follow. My dad smacked me a few times and I noticed before it was too late to say anything that dad had one of his friends standing at the ready to grab Bob. Bob was grabbed and we were tied to chairs and told since our father was our only family member he had custody. The guy how grabbed Bob? I guess a lawyer who works in the child custody field. Yay.
