Helena

Gerard's POV

I woke up to loud groaning. At first I thought it was the TV when the bed shifted and Helena whimpered. I opened my eyes and saw Helena, with no blanket on, curled up in fetal position and clutching her flat stomach. She winced once in a while, a pained expression on her face. "Love, are you okay?" "NO!" She said as she groaned. I sat up and asked, "What's wrong?" "Cramps." Ohh! She was um on her yeah.. "Oh it started." "Yes it did Gee. And you can leave if you want." I shook my head. "No no! I won't." I got up and smiled. I had a feeling today would be good. Usually when Helena starts her um yeah....she gets cramps on the first day. BAD CRAMPS!

Then she's fine the rest. So I was going to treat her like the queen she is. I showered and put clothes on. I grabbed my keys and wallet. "Gee? Where are you going?!" She asked whimpering. "I'll be back Love!" I left walking down to the liquor store. I entered hearing the familiar ding and Karl saying, "Gerard! How are you?" "Great!" He smiled and nodded before continuing to talk to his wife on the phone. I went into the female aisle thing to see Lindsey and Frank holding hands and looking. "Oh hey guys." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

They snapped up. "Hey!" They looked around nervously. Frank hid what was behind his back. I furrowed my brow and went to look for Helena's tampons. "Ooh somebody on his time of the month?" Frank asked laughing. I smacked the back of his head. "Helena is! And I'm going to get her stuff to chill with her today. I need to ask Mikey and Alicia to babysit." I said pulling out my phone and texting Mikey. "Aww! That's so romantic." Lindsey cooed. "What are you here for Iero?" "Not tampons for Lindsey that's for sure." She smacked him at the side of the head. "Jerk." She giggled.

He then held up a box. Of condoms. "Date night tonight." My eyes widened with horror and I shook it off. "We are gonna have Cherry and Lily go to Mikey's also. So it would be cool if they all hung out." I nodded and grabbed a box of her brand that she buys. Mikey texted back saying drop her off now it's fine. I grabbed ice cream, and all of Helena's favorite sweets. I payed and Frank and Lindsey walked me out. "You are so sweet to her why is that?" Lindsey giggled. "Because I love her." I said with a smile. "AWW!" She cooed.

"Talk to you guys later!" I called. "WAIT! Gerard!" Frank called jogging up to me. "Tomorrow for the show in the AM Ring thing. We have a soundcheck at nine. Be there. And bring the family." I nodded and waved bye to Lindsey. I walked home and put the bag on the counter before saying, "Lady B! Are you dressed?" I heard feet padding on the ground and Bandit appeared dressed. "Hi daddy." She said kissing me. "Hey Sweetheart. Ready to see Uncle Mikey and Aunt Alicia?" "YES!!!!!" She said. "Okay."

I walked with her down to my brother's house. I knocked and Mikey answered. I heard laughter and giggles. "I see Cherry and Lily are here." "Yeah, so have a good time. Tell Helena I said to feel better. See you at the soundcheck." I nodded and hugged him before walking home. I set up Netflix and put the bag on the coffee table. I made my coffee and Helena's. I took the box of tampons and went to the bedroom and leaned against the doorway. She laid in bed still in fetal position. "I brought you these. Go shower."

Helena's POV

I laid in bed in the silent house. Why was Gerard taking Bandit to Mikey and Alicia's? I heard a presence and looked up. Gerard stood leaning against the doorframe holding a box. Or tampons. "I brought you these. Go shower." I nodded and got up hunching over as I walked and grabbed the box. I showered and put on my bra and underwear and wrapped the towel around my body. I entered the bedroom and saw a pile of neatly folded clothes on the bed. A piece of paper sat on it. "Wear these. Then go downstairs into living room." I smiled and looked at the clothes.

I put on the sweatpants and the tank top. I smiled when I saw Gerard's jacket the one I loved and his...BEANIE!!! I put them on and went downstairs. Into the living room. There was sweets all over the table with two mugs of steaming coffee and Netflix was on the screen. Gerard walked in and smiled. "Today, we spend time together." He said taking my hand and sitting me on his lap handing me the coffee. He turned on the movie which was a horror movie.

It was ten at night and Gerard and I had watched about ten movies. He shut the TV off and said, "We need to get Bandit and go to sleep. We have to wake up early to do a soundcheck tomorrow at the AM Ring Fling." (NOT A REAL THING! Idk...) I nodded and said, "I'll go get her..I need the walk anyways." He nodded. "Be safe take your phone." I nodded and put my phone in my combat boot. I laced them up and Gerard kissed me. I walked across the street to Mikey and Alicia's and knocked.

Mikey answered. "Hey!" He said letting me in. Cherry and Lily were on the couch with Alicia and Bandit. "Hi Sweetie!" I said. Alicia looked up. "Mommy!" Bandit hugged me. "Hey Hun. Are the ya know...toning down?" She asked quietly. I nodded. "Yeah, I'll be okay to go to the soundcheck. Are you going?" She nodded. "Of course yeah!" "Great see you there!" I hugged her and picked up Bandit. I kissed her cheek. I hugged Mikey goodbye. "Bye Lady B! See you tomorrow!" Mikey said. They hugged and we left.

I walked into the silent house. It was dark. I shrugged it off and went upstairs to put Bandit on her pajamas. I tucked her in and kissed her. "Gee?" I asked. "Yeah?" He called back. "Bandit's going to sleep." "Ah." He said walking in. He crouched down and took her hand. He usually just sang 'Sleep' to her. "So shut your eyes, kiss me goodbye and sleep. Just sleep. The hardest part, is letting go of....your dreams." By the time he finished Bandit was asleep already. He kissed her eyelids and got up. We went into the bedroom and got in our pajamas before falling asleep in each other's arms.

I woke up to see Gerard putting pants on. "Ohh great view to wake up to!" I said. He turned around. "Shut up." he winked. He put on his red leather jacket and did his hair before putting on his red, white and blue Converse. I dressed myself and Bandit. We ate our breakfast and then drove to the AM Ring Fling. I then remembered something. IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY! "GERARD!!!!!" I shouted making him swerve. "What??!" "IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY I FORGOT!!!!!!" I screamed. How could I forget? "SHIT!!!!!! So did I!" I smiled a bit. "Happy 7 years Love." He added. "I love you so much." I said.

We kissed a couple times as he drove and everything was much happier. We arrived at the Ring and I sat on the grass to watch them practice and fuck around. "Hey Helena!" Gerard's voice rung out in the mic. I looked up. "I love you!" he said blowing me a kiss. I caught it and clutched it to my heart smiling and blushing. I blew one back and played with Bandit and conversed with the others. It turned evening and the crowd was getting bigger. We were backstage when they finished I'm Not Okay. When the lights went out. The crowd was as confused as us.

"Would you like to hear a new song of our new unfinished album?" Gerard asked his voice slicing through the dark. The crowd cheered and chanted a yes. "Alright! But is it okay if my beautiful wife were to join us on stage!?" The crowd screamed louder and Gerard said, "Lead her out." Lindsey used a flashlight and led me to Gerard. My heart beated quickly as the crowd chanted my name. What was he doing? "This song is dedicated to her and it's called Summertime."

The beat started to play and I stood there in complete shock. He started to sing and while he walked around, he danced with me. He twirled me around and pulled me clothes. I couldn't let a few tears of joy escape my eyes. This man was the best ever. Nothing will or ever replace him. Ever. He finished the song and it went black again. Then the skies lit up with fireworks saying I love you. Helena you are my sunshine. He held me by the waist and pressed his sweaty forehead to mine. "I love you Helena Way. You are my sunshine when it's dark." He turned to the crowd and said into the mic, "This girl is the light to my darkness. The piece to my puzzle. My best fucking friend. The mother of my child. The love of my life. My wife Helena Way."
He said still panting. "I will love her forever!" He shouted. The crowd got louder as he pressed his forehead back to mine.

"Forever?" I asked smiling.





He smiled wider than I've ever seen. "Forever and ever my Dear."
