Helena's POV

I opened my eyes and looked away from the blinding lights coming through the window. I caught a glimpse of Gerard's hair which shone from the light. I blinked and sat up. I looked down to Gerard and bit my lip. God he looked so hot right now. He had the blanket covering the lower half of his body. His hair was plastered to his forehead and spread all over the pillow. His mouth was slightly open and he was breathing softly. I smiled. He was my husband. He moved a bit and I smiled. "Why are you staring and smiling at me?" He asked his eyes still closed. I looked away. He laughed and sat up. "No, keep staring, I love to watch your green eyes." I blushed and looked down. He laughed again. I loved how he can still make me feel like I did when we were teenagers. That's how good he is.

I looked up to him and he was watching me. With a smile. "So care to explain?" "Explain what?" I asked playing dumb. "The fact you were being creepy and staring at me while I slept?" I blushed and said, "Because....you're my husband. And I love the way you sleep. And you're so cute and I love you." I said. He smiled. "Same Love." He pulled me back down onto him so I was on his chest and heard his breathing. "I love you. Everything about you." I blushed. "Ready to get our daughter?" he asked sitting up. "Yup. Lemme shower first though." He nodded as I got up and walked off still naked. "Daaaaamn!" he said. I laughed.

I had just entered the shower when two hands covered my eyes. "Guess who?" "I hope it's Gerard my husband, the love of my life and the father to my child. If not, I'd be scared." I said mocking what he said a while back. The day Bandit was born. "Shut up." He said turning me to him and kissed me softly as I 'mmmed.' "Do it again." He kissed me again and I started to get turned on. I licked my bottom lip. "Somebody turned on?" He asked playfully. "Very." I whispered running my hands down to his waist then stopping. "I can fix that ya know." "Yes I do as a matter of fact."

"We have to make this quick." I nodded as he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He pushed me against the wall roughly and I moaned. He kissed my neck and down to my collar bone. I moaned and he pushed into me. I screeched and he groaned. "Ohhhh fuck." He whispered into my neck. I ran my hands through his hair and tugged at it. He moaned louder. He pumped faster at the minute. It didn't take long for us to climax and properly shower. We stepped out and dressed.

I placed Gerard's beanie on my head and grabbed my bag. I went downstairs and Gerard was sitting at the counter sipping his coffee. "So Helena, you're turning 25 in two days how do you feel?" I shrugged. "The same not like anythings changing." He nodded. But I saw something in his eyes. He was planning. Shit. We arrived at the hospital and went to Bandit's room. "Hi Honey!" I said. "Mommy! Daddy!" She ran to us. We hugged her and I dressed her. Gerard fed her and we walked her out to the car. I buckled her in and Gerard closed my door. This was the first time we went home happy our baby was back.

Two Days Later (Helena's 25th Birthday)

I woke up to something shifting on the bed. Probably Gerard. Then a hand was pressed to my cheek. My eyes opened and Bandit was on my chest with her hand on my cheek giggling. "Happy birthday mommy! I love you!" "Aww I love you too! Where's daddy?!" I asked looking around. She shrugged. "He left!" "What?!" "I don't know." She said. "Okay, I'm going to shower and dress. I'll be back." I said kissing her. I had to work on my birthday which sucked. I showered and put my red hair in a headband braid.

I put on a black long sleeve Misfits crop top and black skinny jeans. I did my makeup and tied my black high top Converse on. How could he just leave like that on my birthday!!? He's such a jerk! But I still love him...just won't forgive him for a while. I went downstairs and sighed. "B?" I asked. "Down here!" She said giggling. What could she be up to? I entered the kitchen and heard. "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!" I jumped back and looked up from my phone. Gerard stood there with Mikey beaming. He had a plate of blueberry muffins (My favorite) and coffee. Something jumped on my back. "Happy birthday Hun!" Alicia said kissing my cheek.

I thanked her and looked at Gerard. He wore his coat and pants with a beanie. He looked adorable. "Happy birthday Love." he said hugging and kissing me. Mikey doing the same but on my cheek. "Nobody was awake yet." Mikey said. I nodded and ate and drank my food. "I have to go to work babe. Thank you for everything. Best birthday ever!" "It's not over yet!" he called as I hugged Mikey and Alicia and Bandit kissing her. "What? That's not all?" "Not even close!" What could he think of? I kissed him again and ran off to work.

It was lunchtime and I was in my office getting ready to eat my salad when, "Helena! Come tattoo this guy!" "It's my lunch!" "I don't care!" Ugh! What was wrong with her? She was fine a minute ago. I dropped my fork and trudged out and looked at the customer. Instead, it was Gerard dressed this time still wearing the beanie. And the matching Converse I bought him. He held a bouquet of roses and one white rose in the middle. He smiled. "Hi!" "But you're afraid of needles...." I trailed off. "No...well deadly afraid but that's not what I came for! I came for us to go to lunch!" "Oh Gee!" I said hugging him. I grabbed my bag. "Have fun!" Kate waved off. "Aaaand you get to wear the beanie?"

"Really?" I asked. I never got to wear his beanies. Jackets sure, beanies no. "Yup." He took it off and gave it to me as I put it on. He pulled me closer and we walked down the city. "So where to?" "Remember our first date?" He asked. I nodded, "We both had hot dogs and milkshakes and took a walk in the park. You held my hand for the first time also." He smiled. "Good." He walked me to the hot dog vender and ordered two hot dogs and milkshakes. He gave me mine and walked me to the park. We finished and sat there. When he slipped his hand into mine. I smiled. "Gerard, you make me feel 18 again." He laughed. "May I get a selfie with you my Dear to post on Twitter?" i nodded, "As long as I get one for mine."

He took one of me kissing his cheek and him smiling shyly. I did one of him kissing my cheek and me smiling shyly. He posted and tagged me saying, "Happy 25th birthday to the most special lady in my entire life. Love you!" I posted it saying, "This fine man took me on a lunch break from work and he couldn't be any more cuter. Love him so much!" He took me back to work and kissed me before leaving. "Wow Helena, you are so red and beamy!" Kate said laughing. "Why?" She added. "Because this man is going to be the death of me." She laughed.

My shift ended and I drove home. I exited the car and checked the time. It was only 4. I entered the quiet house. "Gee?" I asked. There was a note. "Beach." I had no idea what he was planning now. I put on a coat and walked off to the beach. I followed rose petals assuming they were for me. I stopped when I saw Gerard. At the same spot where we first said I love you. I looked down and saw I was standing in a heart shaped by rose petals. In the sand it said, "The love of my life is here." And an arrow pointed to my feet. I looked up as a guitar came in. Frank sat on a white stool next to Gerard who was also on a stool with a mic on a stand in front of him. Frank had an acoustic guitar on his lap and began strumming.

"When the lights go out, will you take me with you and carry all this broken bone. Through six years down in crowded rooms. And highways I call home? Something I can't know 'til now. 'Til you pick me off the ground With a brick in hand, your lip-gloss smile, Your scraped-up knees." Gerard started looking at me. "And if you stay I would even wait all night. Or until my heart explodes. How long? 'Til we find our way in the dark and out of harm. You can run away with me anytime you want." Gerard continued. "Terrified of what I'd be. As a kid from what I've seen. Every single day when people try. And put the pieces back together. Just to smash them down. Turn my headphones up real loud. I don't think I need them now. 'Cause you stopped the noise."

Tears started to form in my eyes. "And if you stay I would even wait all night. Or until my heart explodes. How long? 'Til we find our way in the dark and out of harm. You can run away with me anytime you want." I covered my mouth and smiled. "Well, anytime you want. Well, anytime you want." I smiled wider. Gerard started to sing quietly, "Don't walk away. Don't walk away." The last one he said louder and stronger, "Don't walk away!" He tapped his fingers against his knee as he sang. "'Cause if you stay I would even wait all night. Or until my heart explodes. How long? Until we find our way in the dark and out of harm. You can run away with me. You can write it on your arm. You can run away with me anytime you want." He finished.

I sobbed into my hands and heard, "Don't cry Love!" He put me in his arms and I cried. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Perfect. That was so beautiful! Did you write that for me?" he nodded. I hugged him tighter and kissed him as I cried. He did something with his hand like a wave when I heard cheers and screams. I looked up and saw bunches of fans running at us. On the other side, Alicia, Mikey, Lindsey with Cherry and Lily, Bandit, Ray, and Christa. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!" They all screamed. The fans and our family tackled us and picked me up like I just one a football game and ran to the water with Gerard next to me. He took my hand and we both plugged our noses before hitting the water. As we were in the water, Gerard took both of my hands and pressed his lips to mine.

We kissed and then swam up. I stuck my hands up and cheered making everyone cheer. I kissed him again and smiled. "I love you so much thank you!" He pulled out a black box. "I got you something." "Gee, this was all enough. What more could you possibly give?" "Just open it!" He said smiling. I opened it to see a necklace of the letter G. I smiled. He helped me put it on. I smiled. "So I'll always be with you like at work or on tour." "I LOVE IT!!!!!" I screeched tackling him with a hug. He kissed me and I kissed back. "This was the best day ever and I don't know how to thank you." "You can show me tonight." He whispered wiggling his eyebrows.

"What did I do to deserve a guy like you?" I asked. "You stayed yourself. Perfect." I kept kissing him as the fans and family joined us in the water.

This day was unforgettable.
