The Hardest Part of This Is Leaving You
Epilogue
A brilliantly controversial filmmaker by the name Jean-Luc Godard once said every story must have a beginning, middle and end though not necessarily in that order. He was to say the least right. No story has a cognitively straight sequence of events. Despite all that I would love to tell you the story ends the moment my cancer went into remission the first of many times. Or when I tried to make up with Mikey soon after. Or even when I was first told that the surgery was a success and mom and Robin sobbed. I can't. No matter how hard I tried I could never tell my story completely. There is something that I can however tell you. This is not the end of my story. This isn't the end of the story of a boy and girl with scars littering their wrists. The two people who have to try their hardest just to get out of bed every morning. Who have to try their hardest to stay alive. This isn't the end of The Bird Girl and a certain boy has come to love.
