I feel so alive - part one

~Gerard’s POV~
I walked into Bandit’s room and crept over to her. “Bandit honey; wake up,” I said, lightly shaking her shoulder.
She stirred, rolling over onto her back and rubbed her eyes. “Morning daddy; what are we doing today?” She asked, looking up at me with those tired hazel eyes of hers.
“I don’t know sweetheart; you choose,” I said, sitting on her bed and she smiled at me.
“Can we go to Disneyland?” She asked, looking up at me, her tired eyes suddenly turning into adorable puppy-dog eyes.
“Sure! Get dressed then,” I said, picking a matching outfit from her closet and handing it to her. “Then we’ll go okay?” She nodded and I left her room to get changed.
“Are you ready Bandit honey?” I asked, knocking on her bedroom door 15 minutes later.
“Yeah, but can you tie my shoes up please daddy?” She said, walking out of her room and I looked down to see her red converse with the laces untied. I crouched down and did them up with ease. I stood back up and grabbed her hand and we walked down the stairs.
I grabbed my keys and wallet and slipped my black converse on before walking outside. I unlocked the car and Bandit climbed in, strapping herself in the front seat.
I got in the driver’s seat and we pulled out of my driveway, heading for Disneyland.
About a half hour later, we arrived at Disneyland and Bandit stared in awe.
“Where do you wanna go honey?” I asked, holding her hand as we walked up to the entrance.
“Everywhere!” She squealed excitedly.
We approached the ticket booth and paid the fee for the park and for fast passes for the rides.
Whenever we approached a princess, Bandit ran over to her and hugged her, wanting pictures taken. About 11 pictures were taken with each one. She also had her picture taken with other Disney characters and all day she had a smile on her face. We went on the rides she wanted to go on and it was a great day for both of us!
