The Boy In The Skeleton Pyjamas.
A little bit of Frank.
*Franks POV*
The nurse entered the room at around eight, with a tray of cereal and toast. "Hiya Frank, how are you doing today?" I smiled at her, I was feeling a lot better today, hopefully I was on the mend. "Yeah, I'm good thank you, what's for breakfast this morning?" I stuck out my tongue, I always did this to the nurses, they didn't even care. "Coco pops, or just toast." she stated, almost sympathising me with her eyes.
I grinned at her, hopefully I'd be able to scrounge some extra food off of her. "Any Nutella?" I blinked innocently, pleading with my eyes. "No Frankie, everyone gets the same." She winked and slipped me some sugar though, and left the tray on my bed. I smiled. "Thank you Maria" I laughed, winking back.
*Gerard's POV*
I looked up at her from under my waking lids. Why was she here? I didn't even mind, it was nice all the same. "Gerard? I thought you were gonna quiz me?" I sat up a little, shuffling up so I was next to her, rather than flopped over her. Oops, I'd fallen asleep. "Okay, ermm.. What's your name?" Faint surprise flashed over her face, touched with embarrassment. "Sorry did I not tell you?! Oh... Well.. It's super weird.." Her lashes brushed her cheek as she spoke, and her blush was adorable. "Come on, it can't be that bad!" I smiled encouragingly. "My name is Tula.. It's super weird.." She blushed deeper. I thought it was a pretty name. "It's a nice name, it suits you." I said politely "Thank you, I don't like it, but oh well.." She grinned, probably relieved I didn't mock her name. The nurse came in with breakfast, so I quickly scrambled back into my bed. I didn't want anyone getting the wrong ideas.
. . . . . . . . . .
"Why aren't you eating?" Tula asked quietly after I sat stirring the spoon around the bowl for about ten minutes. My head snapped up. "Oh.. I..I don't know.. Not hungry I guess." She looked at me disapprovingly, her eyes a little distant. "Gerard?" I shrugged. "But you're so skinny" I shook my head, what was she talking about? "Honestly, perfect weight!" Fat Gerard, fat, fat, fat. "Gerard?" Fat, fat, fat. "Are you in there?" Tula asked, looking slightly agitated "What?" I asked her, wondering why she was looking at me. "Eat? Please? For me?" I looked into her eyes.
