The Boy In The Skeleton Pyjamas.

Tears Are Words The Heart Can't Express.

*Tula's POV (continued)*
"Please, I don't want you to see me like this." he sobbed, a gasp in between every word.
"Well, I don't mind." I said, rubbing his hand soothingly.
"I don't want you to see." He complained, his inward sobs looking as if they were painful to control. "Shush, let it all out." I reassured him, he made a timid smile.
"I'm sorry." He apologised. "Don't be." I smiled. "You did it again, didn't you?" I asked.
He didn't even have to ask what I was talking about, he knew.
As he nodded for yes, I pulled him in for a hug. "I'm not gonna pressure you into anything, but you're here to get better and I want you to."
Gerard sighed. "You don't understand. If I get out of here and you don't.....I don't know what I'd do.."
My heart fluttered slightly at these words, but what he was saying sunk in too.
"I can't make myself better, it's all luck. But you can, Gerard. Saving you will give me something to focus on. Then, once you're better, we can focus on me."
Gerard shook his head. "But I don't wanna leave if you can't come too." He whispered.
I just pulled him close again, not knowing what to say.
We sat like this for a long time. I'm no sure how long though.

"Do you wanna go back? Frank was worried."
Gerard nodded and we wandered back.

. . . . . . .

*Gerard's POV*
As much as I didn't want anyone to find me, I was glad it was Tula, since she was so nice about it.
Just as she had said, Frank was waiting impatiently in the room, looking scared, an odd look to see on his face. Luckily, it lit right up when me and Tula walked in. He lept up to give me a hug.
"Where were you? You've been.." He looked at his watch. "Two hours!"
I smiled apologetically.
"It's okay, Frank. He's here now." Tula smiled. "You're sleeping with me tonight." She stated towards me. Frank winked. Wow, mature. Although, I couldn't help but wink back. Tula rolled her eyes, but I'm sure she intended it to sound that way. One thing I had noticed was that she definitely wasn't the shy girl I'd met a week before, surprisingly, I preferred her this way, she was so fun to be around. "We can watch a film tonight, so long as we use headphones. What do you wanna watch?" I looked through Tula's small collection of movies. They were all comedy chic flics. I had no clue which to choose, they all looked rather painful. "Or, if you'd prefer...." She pulled out half of the box's lining, revealing another layer, filled to the brim with horror and sci-fi films. That's more like it. I'd never heard of these ones though. "They're all English, so you may not know them. They're quite old too, this ones my favourite, it's about zombies." I told her she could choose, since I didn't know any of them. Of course she chose her favourite. It was called 'Early Sunsets Over Monroeville.'
Frank said he didn't want to watch the film, as he was feeling rather tired. It was getting dark. I glanced at the clock, 09.21pm. We were allowed the television on until eleven, the film was an hour long. Great, that gave us more than enough time.
We snuggled up together, using both our duvets to make one big blanket. Just like we had this morning, the beds were pushed together neatly.
Tula pressed play.
The film was very good, yet surprisingly scarier than I'd expected. "Did you like it?" Tula asked happily.
"Yeah, I loved it. What's your favourite bit?" I darted back.
"I liked the bit where Bella was being chased by the zombies, and Antonio rushes into the building to save her, but shes actually a zombie! you?"
I nodded in agreement. "I like that bit too, but I like the end." She gave me a confused look. "But how?" Tula stated, rather matter- of- factly.
"I know. But it reflects the tragedy of love."
Tula sat quietly before bursting out laughing and smacking me lightly on the head. "Awh, little Shakespeare." She teased. "Although I do get what you mean."

@TBPAlterEgo
Maybe once I'm finished with Shadows You Left Behind I could re-do this story more realistically, but I hate it at the moment. xD I might do. Thank you! :D
