Humans Shall Never Harm You

Frank sat at Gerard's desk for the rest of the class, occasionally pulling Gerard down onto his lap when they had a free moment. Frank knew this was a little inappropriate, as the two were not even courting, but Gerard certainly seemed happy to be able to curl into the Dom. The rest of the period went smoothly thanks to Frank. All the students (especially the Doms) had their heads down, scared to even look at the fertile wrong in fear of the Dom's wrath. When the bell rang Gerard waved goodbye to his students, sitting comfortably on Frank's lap. They each nodded quickly to him before rushing out to their next class. Gerard had a small smile on his face, unable to keep his delight at Frank's presence hidden. They spent the entirety of 5th block talking and getting to know one another better. Gerard learned that Frank had no family to speak of. Frank learned that he and Gerard shared similar tastes in many areas. It seemed as though it were over all too soon, as the bell reminded them they had classes this period. They both sighed resignedly, agreeing to meet again soon. With that they hugged, Frank even risking a peck on the cheek for Gerard (which sent him into seventh heaven). The shorter male then hurried out, waving as he left.

The next few days went fairly well for Gerard. That is, until a student in his 4th period asked flat-out if Frank was his mate. Gerard had blushed, stuttering a no. The students glanced at each other, taking in this new information as they left. When they came back the next day, they were as rowdy as their first class. Frank was busy this time, and didn't come to Gerard's rescue. Instead, the timid fertile cowered as spitballs and books here chucked at him. By the end of class it was taking all of his willpower not to break out in sobs. The Doms smirked as they left the room, the original wicked gleam in their eyes once again. Gerard was about to put his head down to hide his tears when one of his students approached. He forced a smile in a feeble attempt to hide his pain. The fertile standing before him saw right through the ruse. He was about Gerard's height, with a fluffy brown afro covering his head.

"Hi Mr. Way... I'm Ray." The boy murmured, glancing up at him.

"Hello Ray." Gerard smiled weakly back at him. "What is it?"

"Oh, um..." Ray ducked his head a little, seeming nervous. "I- I just wanted to apologize. For the Doms I mean. They're being assholes, you seem really nice. I just, I like your class and think it's horrible that they're acting so cruelly. I... what I guess I want to say is I'd like to be friends. The way you said on the first day. Is that an actual offer? Or was it just some BS I fell for?"

"No, it was a real offer." Gerard smiled tiredly. "I'd love to be your friend Ray. Maybe we can talk a little after next class. You should meet my brother as well- his name is Mikey? Maybe you've heard of him? He's a senior, a Dom."

Ray's cheeks went a noticeable red, scuffing his shoes on the stone floor. "Y-yeah... I've heard of him..." He looked embarrassed, which confused Gerard some, but he merely brushed it off.

"So tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow." Ray nodded. He waved quickly before scurrying out of the classroom.

As soon as Ray's footsteps faded Gerard dropped the facade, tears going to his eyes once more as the events of the class itself came rushing back. He realized he couldn't cry in his classroom, the sound would reverberate off the walls too much, as well as someone might see him. No, he had to go somewhere else. Gerard hurriedly stood, knocking over a few pencils in the process but not bothering to pick them up. He half ran out the door, locking it quickly behind him and then taking off down the hall. By this point the tears had finally overflowed, blurring his vision and making it hard to see. Gerard kept his head down, hoping that passerby would ignore him and not notice his current state.

This proved to be a faulty methodology, as he ended up ramming into someone. Both fell backwards, and Gerard scrambled to his feet.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm so sorry I wasn't looking I just-"

"It's alright. It was an accident." The other stood up. Gerard was about to dash away when the voice stopped him.

"Wait... Gee?"

In his haste, Gerard hadn't realized who he'd bumped into. His tears had blinded him, and all he'd seen was a blob. Now the blob had a face. A very, very handsome face.

Frank blinked up at him, surprised to have slammed into exactly the person he had been daydreaming about. He was about to make a joke when he noticed Gerard's expression, and the many water droplets rolling down his cheeks. Frank gasped, pulling Gerard to him.

"Gee?! What's wrong?"

Gerard shook his head, trying to say nothing but sounding like a dying whale instead.

"Oh, Gee..." Frank hugged Gerard, and -to the fertile's surprise- was moments later carrying him. Frank took him to one of the small dungeons, used for only the most elite of the torture classes. As Frank taught those, he knew nobody would be in there. He set the fertile down gently onto a chair, sitting beside him and helping the fertile curl up into his chest.

Gerard gripped Frank's shirt with one hand, finally letting go of the quiet sobs. Frank hushed him gently, rubbing his back and murmuring to him. He kissed Gerard's forehead a few times, brushing Gerard's hair out of his eyes a few times and stroking it gently. Frank's caress eventually calmed Gerard, and when he was only sniffling and hiccuping Frank decided it was safe to ask.

"Gee, what happened?" He whispered, his voice full of care and concern.

"T-t-the D-doms..." Gerard sniffed, a few straggling tears leaking down his face. "T-t-they won't s-stop... they h-h-hate m-me." He whimpered the last bit, burying his face in Frank's chest.

Frank frowned, hugging Gerard close. Those Doms were going to get it for hurting his Gerard- yes, his, Frank had decided that he would have Gerard no matter what even if it took him years to convince the fertile to go on even one date with him.

Gerard could feel the anger radiating off Frank, and in a strange way he was comforted. When Frank was around he felt protected and safe, a feeling he'd never had before. He liked it, and the more time he spent with Frank, the more convinced Gerard was that he was falling for the Dom. Not that he had any problems with that. He just needed approval from Mikey.

Frank broke into his train of thought, muttering about how he was going to torture those Doms until they were screaming for mercy. It made Gerard blush to see Frank so riled up over him... Frank turned to Gerard a moment later, still petting the fertile's hair.

"Gee, I have 4th and 5th off. I'll go to your 4th every day, and stay there, okay? You won't ever have to worry again. I'll protect you and make sure those nimrods stay in line. Sound good?"

Gerard nodded, nuzzling Frank's chest with his head.

"I'll also spend 5th with you..." Frank continued. "If that's alright. I also... I have a question for you, Gerard."

Gerard looked up at him with curious wide eyes, giving him a little nod as a signal to continue.

Frank cleared his throat, taking a deep breath. "With your brother's permission, would you go on a date with me?"

N'awww, Frankie's protective. So here's the chapter. Ray is introduced, are you guys wondering about his reaction to the mentioning of Mikey as I am? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?????
