I'm Just A Normal Teenager

"Do you want to go check the Starbucks store down the street?" I said motioning towards the car. "Yes, that's a good idea, she's always there." Mikey said almost excited. We drove to the Starbucks store and burst through the doors, all eyes turned to us and I saw Frank turn into a tomato. We frantically guided our eyes through the store and came across the dark blonde hair covering her face. "Mum!" I yelled through the store to her and soon realised that it wasn't her. "I'm so sorry!" Mikey said embarrassed. "No it's no problem." she said turning to us. She smiled at Mikey with loving eyes and turned back to her book. "Are you single?" Mikey asked abruptly. "No, I have a boyfriend." she said smiling "Oh." Mikey bluntly replied "I'm just fucking with you." she started "here, have my card." she said handing him her card. "Thanks." Mikey said "Mikey we have to keep on looking for mum, we don't need your lovey dovey shit too." I said getting frustrated. "Okay, okay." he said.

We decided to try and call her phone again. "Hello." was said from the other line. "Mum!" I exclaimed "Gerard?" she asked "Yeah, where are you?" I asked "I'm in bed, why do you want to know?" she asked "How the fuck did you get there?" I asked "Uh I walked up the steps, took a left and came to my bedroom, then changed and got under the covers." she said sarcastically. "We were looking everywhere for you! We got so worried because you weren't answering your phone and we couldn't find you where you usually are." I explained "Why didn't you think of my bedroom, common sense Gerard, common sense." she said like she was trying to teach me a lesson.

We arrived home and ran up to mum's bedroom. "Jesus christ, we thought we lost you." I screamed into her ear as I was hugging her. "You're so dumb, I'm sorry but it had to be said." she said laughing at me. "Well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I joked "Oh my god Gee you're so hilarious." Frank joked. "Oh thanks, I always thought I was." I said continuing the joke. "Frank and I are gonna go now, all the dumb is over whelming." I said grabbing Frank's hand. We leave mum's room and go into our own. "What day is it?" Frank asked "I'll check." I said grabbing out my phone. "Shit, its Tuesday, but we still have time to get to school." I suggested. "Yeah, we'll leave now then." He said tossing me a t-shirt as I had taken it off before we got in bed.

We entered the cold metal school gates and slowly walked to our lockers. We were greeted by notes on the doors that read 'go kill yourself and take your boyfriend with you'. On Frank's locker it said 'emo fucking fag, go slit your wrists, your boyfriend will tell you how'. "You know what, fuck them." I said punching the locker door next to me. "Gee calm down, It's okay." Frank said soothingly. "No it's not okay, they need to pay for what they did and they need to pay big time." I said clenching my fists. "Shh, seriously calm down, everything will be fine. We need to get to class or then we'll get detention." he said "Okay, I'll just grab my books." I said putting the code into the lock. We received a few stares and comments while walking down the hall. We strode along ignoring what was said and thrown at us. One comment soon changed my mood and set me off. "You fucking emo fags aren't good for shit." I heard someone say. I turned around and realised that it was one of my old friends that left me when I came out. "Fuck you." I spat.
