{GERARD P.O.V}


“six months!?” i said shocked
“uhm yeah, at least thats what her papers say” the drac said
“papers!? you mean like registration papers? like they give to dogs?” micah shouted
“micah hush” said frank behind me as he put a hand over her mouth
“god this place is so stupid” i heard micah mumble, i don't think the drac heard tho
“so are you gonna be staying here to take care of jennah?” i asked looking around
i saw a small white bassinet in the corner, i saw a small hand move over the edge
“no” laughed the drac he caught me off guard
“so who is?” i said looking at the bassinet
“well you are” he said as if i should already know that
“what?!” i said shocked
“your new here aren't you?” the drac laughed
“uhm yeah” i choked out
“you see gerard, when a child is abandoned here in battery city , or their parents die or leave they get turned over to us. we don't have an adoption program, so we bring them to a housing unit like this and file them off to a room. just as we did with you, and on the chance they get filed off to a room on there own a sitter such as me gets hired, until they turn 17 , or if in the mean time someone gets filed in the same room as the child, they are automaticly the legal guardian for the child until the child turns 17. Unless of course you die or get banned from the city, and if you do get banned from the city , you have the option to take the child with you, or you can leave them here, and they'll get a new sitter or guardian.” the drac explained
“what if we refuse?” i asked
“youll get banned from the city” said the drac walking out the door,
once we were sure the drac was gone we all let out a sigh
and micah walked over to the bassinet, we all followed and looked down at the small child, and she looked up at us, she had shockingly blue eyes, like the sky on a clear day
and her hair was the lightest blonde, but she was still a baby, it would probably darken at some point.

{3 WEEK TIME LAPSE}


{MICAH P.O.V}

so far we only had to work for korse twice, i can personally tell you he was a complete asshole, he treats women like sex objects, just like i assumed and the second time that we worked he told me to get him a pencil that he dropped, i didn't want to but i had no choice, when i kneeled down he slapped my ass i wanted to stand up and punch him. but i couldnt, it would've blown my cover, in other news, we found mike and ray, they look horrible, as if they haven't slept in days, i don't blame them they probably haven't, every time a drac gets a chance there a dick to them, hitting them for no reason , they even tazed mike because he said he was so hungry that it hurt, and said they were being treated like animals , so one of the dracs pulled out his taser and pressed the button, and mike fell to the floor shaking. ray just sat there shocked, gerard said that we can't make any moves yet because its too soon. we have to wait at least 30 days, its been 21, gerard says on the 30th day there gonna wake korse for a routine check, and when he wakes up were gonna “carry out the plan” he hasn't told me the plan yet though, he said that he will today. and as for jennah, gerard said when we do the plan, we’re gonna take her he said we cant leave her in this shithole of a city.especially how they treat women,
shes one of us now, we even gave her a killjoy name, blu starr, its perfect.
