Worse Than Nicotine

~Gerard's POV~
I calmed a bit, catching what little breath I lost while I was singing. When I opened my eyes, everyone's eyes were on the three of us;Frank, Bob, and me.
I gulped softly, but felt released when Frank began to talk out excitingly. "Fucking hell, Gerard! That was amazing! Shit, you were amazing!" He said walking over to me with a big grin on his face. I couldn't help but get all flustered and embarrsed with these many eyes on me. All I could manage was a simple, "Thanks.."

Frank on,y smiled and walked back over to Bob, giving eachother a high five. "That was amazing. Gerard sounded incredible as well, this could be the start of something new if I'm not mistaking!" I heard Bob say to Frank.

I couldn't believe they really liked my voice. I honestly always thought it sounded like a whining little girl, but I'm proven wrong.

Before I knew it, Frank was pulling me along to lunch. Already time for lunch? Today was going by pretty fast, and I liked that. When we reached the cafeteria, Ray was waiting for us at a door after we got our lunch.

"Alright. Now since everyone is here, its time to show the newbie our little eating place!" He announced happily. I could see Frank and Bob grin at each other from the corner of my eye. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Oh, you'll see." Bob responded. I just simply nodded and followed the three guys to this 'little eating place' of theirs.

When we reached this place, it was a simple janitors closet, but I thought wrong once they opened the door. Inside; it was nice and had posters on the walls, a drum set in the back, and two guitar stands. It was in fact really nice. They all even had the same music taste as one another. They were the perfect friends as well.

I was going to ask where we'll be sitting, but decided not to when the three of them were on the floor already eating their pizza. So, I sat down with them and began to eat as well. It was nice and quiet till Frank spoke to me.

"Hey, so about that thing with going over to your house for dinner. Do you want me to with you after school?" I totally forgot about that, and I even asked him that this morning. I'm such an idiot. "Oh, yeah. Sure. It'll be easier that way anyways." I said to him with a small smile on my lips.

When I looked at him and only him for just that split second, I seen his eyes fixed on my lips and it even seemed like he was licking his own. My cheeks went red almost immediately as I looked down some, only to look up again so I can look at him. Everything else in the room seemed to fade away, leaving me and Frank alone for these few minutes of complete heaven.

Frank's hand went up and tucked some of my red hair behind my ear. "There. Now that looks better." He whispered to me, winking. Oh god. That wink suddenly sent my heart to speed up like a race car. I nodded immediately and shoved the rest of the pizza in my mouth to keep myself from kissing him. I gulped down hard and looked back at him, thankfully he was talking to Ray and Bob for the time being. I sighed in relief until I heard Ray.

"So Gerard, I heard you can sing really well from Frankie here." I heard him say. "Oh, that, thanks. But I don't think I can sing very well." I smiled and stood to throw away my plate. I heard someone sigh and just laugh after that.

Next thing, the bell rang and we were all exiting the room and saying bye to each other. Well, except for me and Frank that is. I stood next to the male and made sure not to loose him in the crowd of teens.
We arrived to class on time and it was art, great. My favorite subject and I'm glad it was the second to last period of the day.

After that, school ended and I was walking with Frank. "I can't wait till you meet my mom. She's really cool and I think you'll love her." I said to the male walking beside me. I smiled when he nodded and smiled back at me, my cheeks mostly likely going red for the thousandth time that day.

"Hey, Gerard." I heard Frank say. I looked at him, "Yeah? What's up?" I asked him softly. "I was thinking that maybe you could come hang out with me tomorrow after school. I'm never busy anyways, so I don't do much." He said looking a bit embarrsed. "Sure! I'd love that!" I said happily when I stopped in front of a red brick house.

I looked at Frank, a larger smile on my face as I began to unlock the door. "Welcome to the Way residents!" I said happily, opening the door to reveal a small little home, but it fit everything inside and was nice and warm.

Frank walked in and breathed in. "Wow. This is a really nice home you have here." He said looking around, and then at me. "Geeerrrarrrd..." I heard a voice groan. "Keep it down will ya.. I just got home too you know.." Mikey.

I looked to the door way and saw Mikey. I knew it. "Oh Mikey. I brought home a friend. This is Frank, Frank this is my little brother Mikey." Frank waved some, resulting in Mikey doing the same. "Hiya." He responded. I laughed softly and closed the door.

"Hey, where's mom? I thought she would be home by now." I said to him. "Oh, she is. She just stepped out for a bit to go get groceries. She'll be back in an hour or so." I nodded and began to walk with Frank behind me.

I had a feeling that today was going to go really well.
