Gerard’s eyes fluttered open, the morning sun flooding through the open windows of the bedroom as he curled up in the white sheets of the bed. “Morning gorgeous” a voice purred, slipping an arm around him as a soft pair of lips planted a kiss on his cheek. He smiled, turning his head to find himself staring into the deep brown eyes of Frank Iero. “Morning... what time is it?” He asked, dragging a hand down his tired face. Frank brushed a strand of hair out of his face, a warm smile still perched upon his face. “Time you got up” He chirped happily, pecking him on the lips as he moved off the bed and walked out of the room.

He lay back against the warm sheets of the bed, staring up at the ceiling as he slowly closed his eyes; life had never seemed so peaceful. A warm feeling began to build up in his chest as thoughts of Frank danced through his mind. God he loved that man; everything from the black hair right down to the tattoos on his skin- he was just perfect. A loud bang suddenly came from the other room, startling him. “Frank?” He called out, sitting up and gazing out of the door.

Silence.

Gerard wrapped the sheet around his naked body, moving cautiously across the room. There was another loud bang, sending a shiver down his spin. Only this time it was closer. His heart thudded in his chest as he stood facing the door of the en suite bathroom. “Frank?” He said weakly, fear coursing through his veins as he reached for the door handle.

The door suddenly flung open. Frank stood in the doorway, blood pouring from a large wound in his arm as his hands covered his face. “Baby, I think I’m sick” Frank said sadly, his voice sounded echo-y in Gerard’s ears. A chill ran down his spine. Something didn’t seem right.

“Frank, what’s wrong?” He asked uneasily.

Laughter suddenly poured from Frank’s lips; a frightening, manic laugh. He dragged his hands down his face, ripping the flesh from his skull. Blood spurted all over the white washed room. Gerard stood frozen to the spot, screaming in fear as he stared into Frank’s eyes.

But they were not his eyes.

Red eyes filled the holes which once possessed his lover’s eyes. His flesh hung loosely from his jaw which was twisted into a horrific grin. “Am I infected?” He asked sweetly. The smile quickly faded into a snarl. Frank lunged at Gerard, his screams echoing through the room as the man he loved sunk his teeth into his neck.

Gerard’s eyes snapped open and found himself back in the car, a cold sweat dripping down his forehead as his heart raced in his chest. His eyes darted around the car, quickly calming down as he realised that it was just a dream. Lindsey was sleep soundly beside him as Billie continued to drive up the road. Frank turned around in the passenger seat, a look of concern spreading across his face. He might have hated Gerard for what he said, for the way he judged him and for abandoning him for the bitch of east wick

But he couldn’t help but still care about him.

“Everything alright?” He asked, cold and uninterested; not wanted to show him any sort of affection after the way he had treat him. Gerard shook his head, rubbing his eyes as he yawned wearily. “Just a bad dream” He replied uncertainly. Frank grunted, nodding as he swiftly turned back to face the front. Gerard sighed, sinking back into the car seat as stared out of the window.

Of course it was just a dream, there was no way anything like that would ever happen....

Right?

Small update- there is some significance to this chapter but all will be revealed later ;) x
