Days Gone By

Jenny quickly covered her mouth, closing her eyes as she steadied herself on the dirt track. She hated being sick like this. Her stomach churned as she pressed her hand harder against her lips. Not now, please not now she silently pleaded, feeling a hand lightly touch her shoulder. She glanced back to find a confused Gerard standing behind her.“Hey... are you alright?” he asked, raising an eyebrow at her as she began to take deep breaths, placing her hand against her chest. She nodded flashing him a smile; a weak, unconvincing smile before dashing off the path and into the undergrowth before throwing up behind one of the trees; tears trailing down her cheeks as she tried to hold back her hair. Jenny closed her eyes, resting her head against the cold bark of the tree as her chest heaved.

Nobody ever warned her pregnancy would be this hard.

The group wandered through the town, breaking into various stores and filling up their bags with supplies. The town was like a living body. Once healthy and attractive with desirable parts, the high street now stood alone with only the ugly, undesirable parts. The buildings rusted away as the doors swayed in the breeze; creaking on their hinges.

Gerard and Frank pried open the double doors of starbucks, creeping inside. They glanced around, checking for walkers before stuffing their bags with food and drink. Frank glanced over at him; his heart skipped a beat as saw Gerard smile at him. “Listen, can we talk about the other day?” He asked, stuffing bottles of water into his bag. Gerard paused for a moment, closing his eyes and sighing to himself. He glanced up at Frank, a pained looked spreading across his face. “Frank I’m not going to keep having the same conversation over and over...”

Frank wouldn’t let him finish. He swiftly dropped the bag, moving over to Gerard before grabbing him by the waist and pushing him against the wall of the coffee shop; kissing him hard on the lips. “....again” Gerard breathed, kissing him again, passionately this time as Frank led him over to a nearby table. Gerard moved his hands down his chest, wrapping his fingers around Frank’s tiny waist and hoisted him up onto it as Frank kissed down his neck; unbuttoning his shirt.

Gerard grinned, a quiet giggle escaping from his lips as he unzipped Frank’s jeans and pulled them down, revealing his enormous hard on; his eyes widening slightly at the sight of it- the size shocked him. He looked up into Frank’s pleading eyes. “Gee... please“ Frank whimpered, struggling to contain himself. Gerard cupped his face with his hand, pressing his lips against his as he wrapped his fingers around his dick. Frank gasped, pulling away from Gerard slightly as he tried to control himself. He smiled as he began moving his hand up and down Frank’s shaft; running his other hand through his short dark hair as he kissed his neck. “Oh Gee” he moaned, closing his eyes as he grabbed hold of Gerard hair.

Gerard stopped suddenly, kissing him hard on the mouth as he ran his fingers through the tangles of his hair. “On your front” He commanded sweetly as he slowly unbuttoned his trousers. Frank smiled, quickly turning around to face the wall. Gerard ran his hands down Frank’s sides, feeling his soft, pallid skin as he entered him; listening as he heard him gasp. Gerard bit his lip, moaning as he slowly thrusted himself in and out of Frank. “Oh god Gee” He moaned, digging his nails into the wood of the table. Gerard moved faster, thrusting himself deeper into him as he fucked him harder, digging his nails into his back as he felt Frank squirm and cry out with every movement. “Oh fuck... fuck” He heard himself moan loudly, his breathing getting louder as he got faster. Gerard threw back his head, screaming out Frank’s name; god he loved this. “Frank I’m gonna...” Gee started, dragging his nails down his back as he finished in him. Frank cried out, finishing almost simultaneously.


There was a moment of silence; the only sound that could be heard was the wind howling outside. Suddenly, both of them started laughing, Gerard feeling Frank trembling as he pulled out, stepping back to put on his jeans. Frank smiled; sitting up for a moment as he wrapped his arms around Gerard’s waist and pulled him down next to him. They sat there for a while, Frank’s chest rapidly rising and falling as Gerard rested his head against it“You ok?” He asked, looking up at him with worried eyes. Frank looked at him, laughing slightly. “Yeah, Yeah I’m fine” He panted, running a hand through his hair as he struggled to get his breath back. Gerard closed his eyes, smiling in hisarms as Frank kiss him on the forehead.

“Frank?” He whispered.


“Yes?” He replied.


“I...I love you” Gerard said, sheepishly.


He was met by a moment of silence; an ache began to form around his heart as he felt fresh tears well in his eyes. He was about to move away, perhaps to walk back outside and maybe, on Gerard’s demand, try and forget what happened. But when he heard those words; those three little words which made his heart skip a beat, three words which made every bad memory disappear, he couldn’t help smile. He squeezed his eyes shut, silently wishing away the stupid tears which began to trail down his cheek.


“I love you too Gee” He whispered, kissing him on the forehead as, for the first time in three years,

He finally felt happy.
