Summertime
Until my heart explodes.
"I'm in love with you."
I could hear his uneven breathing a few metres behind me, and I could feel the frustrated tears clawing at the backs of me eyes. I had to make him understand that he doesn't love me.
"Gerard, you don't know what you're saying! The grief of losing Lyn-Z is messing with your head!"
I didn't expect him to come closer, but he swiftly moved across the room, coming to a halt a few inches away from me. I could now clearly hear the ugly, pain ridden sobs that racked his body.
"I think you're the one who doesn't understand," he paused for a brief moment, "I never loved Lyn-Z - it was always you, Frankie."
I sucked in a sharp gasp, and slowly turned to face the crimson haired angel whom I had desired for so long.
His astounding beauty struck me again for what must have been the millionth time. His eyebrows were furrowed and his mouth was curled downwards - it was almost painful to look at. But what pained me most was the waterfall of tears cascading down his face, and so I tenderly reached upwards to brush them away.
"T-that can't be true, I mean, you and her were always so h-happy togeth-" He cut me off.
"Do you really think I would lie to you? It was all an act, Frank! Mikey's known the entire time, too. I trusted him enough not to tell Lyn-Z." He was slowly working himself up and getting angrier by the minute.
"I just fucking love you, okay?!" He all but screamed. His fists were clenched, and his features were set as hard as stone, but in that moment Gerard couldn't look anymore perfect. I'd dreamed about this moment for year. He was finally mine.
"I fucking love you too." It was barely a whisper, but I knew he had heard me because his entire frame relaxed, and his look changed to one of relief.
"I'm so glad you said that."
He was in front of me in a second, so close that I could feel his warm breath fanning against my face. I knew exactly what I wanted to happen now.
"Kiss me?" I glanced up, and he was staring down at me with lust filled eyes.
"I thought you'd never ask." And that was all it took.
He connected our lips, passion and lust radiating between us. It was a mess of zips and fabric. He yanked me down onto the bed roughly, and attacked my neck with hungry nips and kisses. I pushed firmly against his chest and forced hm to flip us over.
I carefully unzipped his jacket and pulled his slightly sweaty t-shirt over his head. I could now see his beautifully pale and exposed chest, which was warm to touch and slightly sticky from the heat.
He continued to caress my neck with his lips from beneath me, and my fingers clutched his sides. His trousers dug in deliciously where he carried a little extra weight on his hips, but he was perfect all the same.
He shifted beneath me, trying to sit up. I reluctantly climed off of him.
"What is it, Gee?" I asked. He wore a slightly uncomfortable expression.
"I don't think I'm ready to..y'know." He was beet red, I could see his blush spreading rapidly.
"O-oh. Oh. That's fine, I understand." I smiled timidly and he gestured for me to join him in bed. I crawled next to him, and yanked the sheets over our bare torsos.
"So..Where do we go from here, Frank?" He asked, stifling an exhausted yawn.
"I don't really know, I guess. Are we an item?"
"I'd like to think we are." He replied. I just wanted to live this moment forever.
"Why can't we run away together, Gee?" Now, that really would be perfect. Just the two of us against the world.
"The guys need us. Who would be there to stop Mikey doing something as stupid as sticking a fork in a toaster again?"
I chuckled. Mikey was such a dork sometimes.
"I guess we'd better stay then."
