And You Don't Know A Thing About This Life
Chapter 18
Frank's POV
Gerard had started the car, and I jumped in happily. He said he was planning to see a movie with me in the theaters, and then we'd head to the mall and Starbucks because 1) he said I didn't have enough clothes, and 2) he really wanted to have some heavenly coffee from Starbucks.
"So," I questioned shyly. "Which movie are we going to see?"
"The Winter Soldier," he answered, demonstrating with his hands, suspense. "Captain America." (A/N I know it didn't exist at the time, but the movie's hella awesome)
I nodded in interest. "That's cool. Have I ever told you I was obsessed with comics?"
Gerard laughed and kept his eyes on the road. "No, but I bet I'm more obsessed."
"You bet so? I own like a crate full of them."
"Sweetheart, have you seen my closet?"
I smirked. "No."
"Well, you'll never be able to open it because it's jammed with Marvel," he said.
"How can I compete with that?"
"You don't," Gerard joked. "But, I'll try to open that damn thing and read you all of them."
We started to walk in the theater silently, ordering popcorn and sodas. The trailers for other movies began. "Gerard, I can't wait for you to read me those comics."
"And I can't wait to see the light behind your eyes shine," he said, more to himself than me.
